The Simmba actor posted a picture of himself with a clean shave, dressed in a royal blue bandhgala and he captioned the picture as “Shaadi Season is here! Entertainer for Hire. Ranveer and Deepika who celebrated their fist Diwali as husband and wife were not seen in any Bollywood Diwali bashes and had rather opted an intimate get-together with their respective families. According to a Pinkvilla report, a source close to both the actors had revealed that DeepVeer celebrated the festival with their families, the Bhavnanis, the Padukones and siblings. The source had also revealed, “They had a rather quiet few days at home spending quality time with each other and hence decided to give all the Diwali dos a miss." In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Deepika had revealed that she and Ranveer are not planning kids for the time being. Revealing that although they both love kids, they are not thinking about embracing parenthood at this point of their career. Deepika had stated, “It’s sad that society puts people in this rut that if you’re dating for so long toh shaadi kab hogi and then bacche. We’re not surprised by the rumours. Of course, we want children, we both love kids. But we’re too selfishly focused on our careers at this point. It wouldn’t be fair to have kids at this point. We’re not even thinking about kids."
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar India, Deepika had spoken at length about her husband, Ranveer and their bond. She had revealed that it is Ranveer, who is the reason for her success and that her husband is extremely supportive of her professional achievements. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, she had further added, "Emotionally, I think I'm the more intuitive one. I'd say IQ is more him. But at the same time, he's not all like, 'I'm a man, I can't show my emotions.' He is sensitive, and so am I, and it makes it easier to share a life with someone who understands that."
