As Rani attended Sabyasachi's New York fashion show, the duo gave a short interview to Diet Sabya, and Sabyasachi revealed another interesting detail about Rani's wedding.
Sabyasachi Mukherjee reveals Aditya Chopra was chasing drones at his and Rani Mukerji's secret wedding
In a video posted by Diet Sabya, Sabyasachi revealed that he was at Rani's wedding, and he added that 15 people were invited, out of which only 13 people were present. Rani burst out into laughter when Sabyasachi revealed that Aditya Chopra was 'chasing drones'.
The fashion designer also mentioned that he doesn't do custom work for Bollywood, but he did the same for Rani, since he doesn't consider her only an actress but also his 'family'. Sabyasachi mentioned that he asked Rani to be a part of his New York Fashion Week, and she arrived, just like she always arrives at all his store openings, and it shows how close the bond is between the duo.
Rani, for her appearance at New York Fashion Week, slipped into an all-black look. With a sleeveless black blouse that featured a plunging neckline, Rani donned a pure black saree and looked ravishing. She paired it with dewy makeup, open hair, a gorgeous clutch, and black glasses. Speaking about Sabyasachi, Rani revealed that she just loved him, his work, and his art.
For the unversed, Rani Mukerji was one of Sabyasachi Mukherjee's first official brides, and it was no doubt extremely special for both of them. Sabyasachi designed a red lehenga for Rani's wedding; however, he was given only one week to prepare the bridal trousseau. He revealed the same in an earlier interview. Yes! A week before she needed the wedding outfit, Rani asked Sabyasachi for the same over lunch. As the designer was well familiar with Rani's style and had some suitable pieces and concepts ready, he could pull it off.

Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra had a secret wedding, and Karan Johar was one of the guests at the same. Karan had to even lie to his mom before joining the wedding ceremony of the couple. Aditya Chopra told Karan back then that if any information was leaked, it would be because of KJo, because nobody knew anybody else, except for the SOTY filmmaker.
Aditya told Karan it would be his 'fault' if anyone learned about the former's wedding to the actress. It was during the time when 2 States was set to be released, and Karan Johar had to leave on that day only, which brought him the tag of being 'irresponsible'.
