Randeep Hooda it is, folks! 42-year-old Randeep Hooda had walked many miles to get where he is today. From linkups with A-listed names in Bollywood, his valiant voice and heavenly good looks to choosing his roles carefully, Randeep has come a long way and is also seen in Akshay Kumar starrer, Kesari.
While that is all about Randeep Hooda’s professional front, let us share an interesting update on this handsome Kick actor’s personal life. Do you know, Randeep too, like many stars wanted to opt for surrogacy at one point in life? Yes, in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Randeep shared, “I thought about having my own child through surrogacy. I even discussed this with my parents and they were okay with this thought and idea.”
But it was his father, who’s advice compelled him to think through. The Highway actor shared, “My dad said, ‘Beta, bachhon ko maa ki zaroorat hoti hai (a child needs a mother). How are you going to manage that? Do you want your child to be deprived of a mother?’ I said ‘No’. Randeep Hooda also shared that his parents keep on popping pictures of girls, every now and then, for his marriage. The Highway actor shared in the same interview, “Oh yes, my parents put that pressure all the time. My mom sneakily shows me the pictures of girls who have sent marriage proposals, though I don’t think it is going to happen anytime soon (laughs), but then, you never know what happens next.”
What is keeping Randeep Hooda busy these days? He shared, “With acting, my life is complete. I’m in a relationship with my work and my love for animals and social work are just an extension to my personality. I’m very involved in it and all these require my complete attention.” We completely agree with Randeep in here, right?
Speaking about his linkups, please note that Randeep Hooda was once in a relationship with Sushmita Sen. Revealing that his breakup with Sushmita was the best thing that had ever happened to him, Randeep had once shared in an interview, “The biggest part of my relationship with her over three years was my relationship with her daughter, Renee. I missed only one theatre rehearsal in my life as Sushmita wanted me to not go and that is the worst thing I did in terms of my value system. I was exposed to fame although I was on the sidelines as I was not a star. The break-up was the best thing that happened to me and I realised that I gave it too much time in my life.”
In a 2013 interview with Filmfare, Randeep Hooda spoke about relationships and life, “It’s not good to be in a relationship if you can’t contribute. Being just a taker can never work out. Unless I have the time and mental space to enjoy togetherness, I don’t want to be in a relationship. I’ve had some wonderful people in my life. And I’m trying to keep that equation healthy. But I’m not in the frame of mind to have a spouse right now. I am honest about it.”
Randeep Hooda, then, had also spoken about his views towards ‘settling down’ in life and finding the right partner. He had shared, “Yes. I felt that way then and it was wonderful. But then due to work and erratic schedules my personal life took a beating. Sooner or later, someone will fit in. Even if someone doesn’t I won’t regret it. In that sense I’m quite detached.” He chooses not to speak about the much reported relationship with actress Neetu Chandra or anyone else due to the respect he accords to all his relationships. Ask him if he’s in touch with any of his previous girlfriends and it doesn’t take him a second to answer, “All of them. Because my biggest asset is that I am honest.
