Ranbir Kapoor has been enjoying the success of his film, Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also featured famous stars like Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri and Prem Chopra. The story revolves around a son's immense love for his father, for whom he can kill anyone that comes his way. The storyline revolves around the underworld backdrop. However, the film is also making headlines for the wrong reasons, for the extreme violence and abusive language. Recently, a proposal video from the film went viral, and netizens are left irked by the language used for a woman.
Recently, we stumbled upon a video from Animal, wherein Ranbir Kapoor's character, Ranvijay, proposed to his ladylove, Geetanjali, played by Rashmika Mandanna. In the scene, Ranbir Kapoor remarked, "Geetanjali you have a big pelvis." To which, Rashima replied, "You mean to say I am fat." Later, the character clarified that he is not calling her fat, but by saying 'you have a big pelvis' meant you can accommodate healthy babies.

The film's director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, justified his character's dialogue during an interview. He shared that it means that the boy sees the future with his love, and they can get married and have babies. He added that it was a 'compliment'. The interviewer further added that it turns out to be medieval thinking, and it doesn't happen anymore.
As soon as the video went viral, netizens flooded the comments session, expressing their disinterest. One user wrote, "Such a disgusting movie .. that's all about violence and disrespect of a woman." Another commented, "New era of asking out a woman." Another wrote, "This guy has lost it." We also stumbled upon a comment which can be read as "This person /director should b banned or charged ... seriously he is sick person don't understand how did actors agreed to it."
For the unversed, Ranbir once faced this serious allegation of calling a woman fat in real life. Last year, he landed in big trouble after making fun of the weight of his then-pregnant wife, Alia Bhatt. It all started during a YouTube live, wherein Ayan Mukerji asked Ranbir and Alia why they were not promoting the film everywhere. To this, Alia instantly replied, "We will promote the film, and we will be everywhere, but if the question you are asking is why we are not phailod everywhere, right now our focus is..." However, Ranbir interrupted, pointed out Alia's baby bump, and made fun of her baby bump. He quipped:
"Well I can say somebody has phailod."
