One of the most adored couples in Bollywood, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time. Undoubtedly, their massive fanbase has hooked their eyeballs on the mommy-to-be's social media handle, and every glimpse of the couple becomes a social media sensation within seconds. For the unversed, they tied the knot with each other on April 14, 2022, and two months into their married life, on June 27, 2022, the actress delighted their fans with their 'good news'.
Since then, the soon-to-be-parents never miss a chance to swoon our hearts with their mushy glimpses. For instance, on September 2, 2022, Alia Bhatt along with her darling hubby, Ranbir Kapoor and other team members, including Karan Johar, Nagarjuna, etc, were spotted at a promotional event in Hyderabad for their film, Brahmastra. For the event, Alia opted for a stunning rani pink-coloured suit from the designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's collections. Now, in a joint interview with NDTV, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt revealed anecdotes about working with each other. At the beginning, the actress was asked about the sexist reporting around her pregnancy announcement. To this, the soon-to-be-daddy jumped in between and heaped praises on his wife for her dedication to work. He mentioned that the way the mommy-to-be carries herself is worth drooling. In his words:
"One thing is clear and I'm not saying this because she's my wife. Alia in the history of Indian cinema is probably one of the most important actors there's ever been. The work she's done on screen or the kind of way she carries herself, the value system that she has and what she stands by, I haven't seen that strength in men or women and I think we should just respect that."
Further, Ranbir mentioned Alia's dedication to her work, even during pregnancy, is inspirational to all. For the unversed, during her pregnancy, Alia has wrapped her upcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, worked in her Hollywood debut film, Heart Of Stone, and was also constantly seen promoting her recently released film, Brahmastra co-starring her hubby. Talking about her conduct throughout the time, Ranbir mentioned that the haters were just jealous and added:
"I think the way she has carried herself through the entire marketing of this film being pregnant, being in the condition that she is - I think you should only be inspired by that. Any kind of criticism is just jealousy and mischief makers and stupidity and we should not take that seriously."

In the same conversation, Alia was again asked what it was like for her while working with her hubby and juggling their personal and professional space. To this, Alia at first mentioned it to be "Easy" and added that though the duo are very strong individuals and apart from having a beautiful companionship, they also have a good working relationship. In her words:
"It naturally happens when we are in a working environment. Ranbir and I are very strong individuals, especially me. I don't mean he's not a strong individual. But, we both respect our individual personalities and professional commitments together. We're not 'do jism ek jaan' kind of people. We have a beautiful equation as companions and we have an even better working relationship because we're both passionate about movies."
