Rana, who loves keeping his personal life out of media glares had broken many hearts with the news of being 'taken'. On May 12, 2020, Rana had confirmed his relationship with an entrepreneur, Miheeka Bajaj. Posting a loved-up picture with Miheeka, Rana had captioned it as "And she said 'yes' #MiheekaBajaj”. Soon his post was flooded with congratulatory messages and wishes for the couple.
According to the reports of a popular Telugu entertainment portal, Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj’s wedding which was supposed to take place in the month of August was postponed. The reason for postponing the wedding was due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Hyderabad. The sudden increase in the number of cases is quite alarming due to which, Rana’s father, Suresh Babu is rethinking their marriage date.
Since Rana Daggubati had announced his relationship with Miheeka Bajaj, there have been reports emerging in the media about their probable wedding. But it was only a few days back when Rana’s father, Suresh Babu had confirmed to Deccan Chronicle that the wedding will take place on August 8, 2020, as per the guidelines set by the government to control the spread of the pandemic. In an interview with the Indian Express, when Rana was asked if he would be having a grand wedding, he had replied, "Depends on the world's situation. I found the strangest time to get married." During an Instagram live session with actress, Lakshmi Manchu, Rana had opened up about how he had confessed his love to Miheeka. When asked how he had proposed her, the actor had replied, “I thought about it how to go and in the evening I confessed to Miheeka. She already had an idea of what was coming. I was too casual and no nervousness.” Rana had also revealed that his family was shocked to know that he had proposed marriage to Miheeka, but they were overwhelmed with happiness, especially his sister. He had further stated that he is enjoying the attention from his fiancée and had said, “It's nice and fun. She is sweet and likes me the way I'm.”
On May 20, 2020, Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj’s families had a formal meeting to formalise a date for the couple’s engagement and marriage. Posting a picture with his beautiful ladylove, Miheeka, Rana had written, “And it’s official!!” Miheeka had also posted two pictures from the ceremony and had written, "To the beginning of forever @ranadaggubati" and "My happy place!@ranadaggubati".
While the picture had looked like from their engagement ceremony, Rana’s father, Suresh Babu had clarified that the couple is not yet engaged and was quoted as saying by the New Indian Express, “It’s not an engagement. Our families sat together on Wednesday to discuss what all has to be done for the pre and post-wedding functions. It’s a ritual among the Telugus to meet the bride’s parents before fixing the engagement and wedding dates. We are happy to take these alliance talks forward.” Rana had confirmed via his IG story that it is from his roka ceremony.
