Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela hosted a grand naamkarnam (naming ceremony in South India) for their daughter. The couple was blessed with a baby girl on June 20, 2023. However, the interesting part is that after the birth of their daughter, Ram and Upasana moved back to their parents, Chiranjeevi's house. According to reports, the new parents wanted to embrace this new phase with their entire family.
Chiranjeevi took to his Instagram handle and shared the video, announcing his granddaughter's name. He revealed the baby's name, and he further penned that he is sure their little princess will imbibe these qualities into her personality when she grows up. His note can be read as:
"And the baby’s name is ‘Klin Kaara Konidela ’… Taken from the Lalitha Sahasranama Namam.. 'Klin Kaara', signifies a transformative purifying energy that brings about a spiritual awakening! All of us are sure the little one, the Little Princess will imbibe these qualities into her personality .. as she grows up. Enchanted!"

Upasana and Ram named their daughter, Klin Kaara Konidela, in a grand ceremony, and pictures of it were shared on the latter's IG handle. The ceremony took place at Upasana's mother's house in Hyderabad. Upasana and Ram also shared the meaning of their daughter's name. They revealed that they chose the name from the Lalitha Sahasranamam, which is a sacred Hindu text from the Brahmanda Purana which lists a thousand names of the Hindu mother goddess Lalita Devi.

The parents revealed that their daughter's name signifies a transformative and purifying energy that brings about a spiritual awakening. The entire family wore a matching traditional ensemble, and the baby girl was sleeping in a jhalli (a swing that is made with a huge cloth). Ram Charan's father, Chiranjeevi was also present at the ceremony and was decked up in the traditional weak. He looked at his granddaughter in awe, and it was the perfect moment captured on camera.
Before giving birth to her baby girl, Upasana and Ram were parents of a furbaby. However, their life changed with the arrival of their princess. On June 24, 2023, Upasana shared the first-ever daily picture. It featured Ram holding their furbaby, and Upasana cradling her baby girl. The family looked adorable in the picture-perfect moment. Alongside it, Upasana wrote:
"Overwhelmed by the warm welcome for our little one. Thank you for all the love and blessings."
