Rakesh Roshan is a multitalented person. He is a famous actor from the 70s and 80s era Indian Cinema. However, he is also recognised for his work as a film-maker, director, and screenwriter. He appeared in 84 Hindi films during his acting journey and later achieved fame for directing movies starting with the title "K".
A few of popular movies which he directed were Khoon Bhari Maang, Karan Arjun, Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, and Krish. He also won the Filmfare Award for Best Director for directing the movies; Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai and Koi Mil Gaya, in which his actor-son Hrithik Roshan had played the lead role. In the year 1971, Rakesh and Pinkie started a beautiful journey as they tied the nuptial knot. The couple completed 50 years of their marriage, on April 22, 2021 and had celebrated in a grand style.

On September 6, 2021, Rakesh Roshan turned a year older and on this special day, his wife, Pinkie Roshan has something special to say. She penned down her feelings for the love of her life and shared them on her Instagram handle. In the candid picture, we can see the couple enjoying a party as she wrapped her arms around her loving husband. She posted the loving photo of the two with a heartwarming birthday wish in the caption which read, "Happy birthday to my partner for life and many more. Keep guiding us always, have walked the path with you and learnt so much, will hug you..holding your hand forever thru our journey, with the blessings and love of our elders who have departed and wishing you from wherever they are."

As the picture went online, the post was flooded with wishes from famous Bollywood stars and fans. Actress, Neetu Kapoor also wished the actor on his birthday.
After which, Rakesh Roshan's son, Hrithik Roshan also penned a note for him. Sharing a picture with him, he wrote, "The best part about being his son is he still inspires me to believe in the impossible potential inside myself. Happy 72nd birthday papa. Wish I grow to be as strong and young as you."
Previously, Pinkie Roshan had shared a beautiful picture with her dearest hubby, Rakesh from their younger days. She had captioned it as, "Once upon a time in Uk." Replying to the same, Rakesh had made a funny comment saying, "I use to carry a comb", as he had silky black hair back then. Both of them are very active on social media and keep updating their fans with their latest pictures.
On the professional front, Rakesh Roshan is all set to resume the shooting of his upcoming movie, Krrish 4 as soon as the pandemic is over.
