Raj Kundra has been dominating all the headlines since the time he announced his movie, UT 69. For the unversed, the movie marked Raj's debut as a 'hero' in Bollywood. UT 69 traces down the deets about Raj's experience during his confinement days in the Arthur Road jail in Mumbai. It was back in the year 2021 when Raj Kundra was taken under jail custody for his alleged involvement in the adult film racket case. However, the way Raj positively took this experience is praiseworthy. Since the last few days, Raj Kundra has been revealing some interesting anecdotes about himself. And again, the same happened as he participated in a rapid-fire round.
Recently, the businessman-turned-actor, Raj Kundra took part in a fun rapid-fire game on ShareChat. During the session, Raj was questioned whether he would ever take part in the famous talk show, Koffee With Karan. To this, Raj gave a humorous reply by saying that no one has ever benefitted from the show. Raj said:
"Koffee with Karan pe kisi ka bhala nahi hua hai."

Going forward, Raj Kundra was asked whom he would like to choose as his ideal co-actor from Bollywood. To this, Raj took Deepika Padukone's name and added that she is his favourite. Raj mentioned that he would be thrilled to work alongside Deepika. When asked about an ideal couple of Bollywood, Raj Kundra heaped praise on Shahid Kapoor and his wifey, Mira Rajput, as his top choice and called them highly underrated. During the same round, Raj was asked about Ranveer Singh's performance in the film, Cirkus. To this, the businessman-turned-actor mentioned that Ranveer is one of his favourite actors, but in Cirkus, the latter had overacted.
For those who chipped in late, Shilpa Shetty's husband has been showing his skills to the world for the last few months. First, he graced a stand-up comedy stage and left everyone in awe of his sense of humour and one-liners. Later, he announced his debut movie, UT 69, which is based on the minute details of his 63-day jail stay. When Raj announced his film, a lot of people questioned whether Raj had been trying to whitewash his image.
Talking about the same, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Raj mentioned that he had no intention of doing the same, and if he wanted to do that, he never let the director use every minute detail about his confinement days, including where he had to strip. He further mentioned that he used to note down the details and later found a touch of dark humour there, which had been also used in the film.

During the trailer launch event of UT 69, Raj Kundra shared that Shilpa was a bit dicey about him doing the film, but after hearing the storyline, she said 'yes' and supported him throughout. It was on November 3, 2023, when the movie was released, Shilpa took to her IG handle and penned a long note, wherein she praised her hubby for his bravery and also lauded him for his acting skills.
