Shekhar Suman's son, Adhyayan Suman made his debut in the Hindi film industry with the movie, Haal–E –dil. However, it was his role in the movie, Raaz brought him much attention. Moreover, Adhyayan's personal life often made it to the headlines. For the unversed, Adhyayan was in a relationship with Kangana Ranaut. The duo met on Raaz's sets, and soon after that, they became romantically involved. Adhyayan and Kangana were together for a few months, and then they parted ways on an ugly note. Recently, Adhyayan talked about his past relationship and revealed if he is planning to get married.
For the unversed, Shekhar Suman and his son, Adhyayan Suman will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Recently, Shekhar and Adhyayan sat for an interview with Siddharth Kannan, wherein the Raaz actor talked about his past relationship with Kangana.

The actor didn't take Kangana's name but mentioned that he wanted not to discuss the person the interviewer was referring to as he had forgotten the past. Adhyayan also stated that he had given a massive closure on this topic, so he doesn't want to talk about it any further as he was 20 years old back then, and now he's 36. Talking about it, Adhyayan added:
"Aisa koi bhi vakt nahi hai jaha par mai, jinke baare me aap baat kar rahe hai, unke baare mein main discuss bhi karna chahta hu ya baat bhi karna chahta hu because I have forgotten past. Aap puch rahe hai to mai aapko jawab de raha hu but I have given a massive closure to this. Zindagi bahut aage badh chuki hai."
In the same conversation, Adhyayan was asked if he had been unlucky in love. Adhyayan added that he doesn't think the same way, as he receives much love from other people. Talking about the same, the actor added that he had a romantic journey and had a few heartbreaks, but it actually helped him as a performer as he learned a lot of things emotionally.

Adhyayan Suman further mentioned that he still believes that there's nothing greater than love in this world, and if love is used in the right way, then it can carry any individual to a greater place in life. He also added that if anyone is involved with the right person, then it can change someone's life. In the same interview, Adhyayan was asked if he is ready to get married. To this, the actor said that he is ready and his life is on the right track, and he would like to get married in the next two years. Adhyayan can be quoted as saying:
"Yeah, I am sure. I am 36 now. Just zindagi mujhe lag raha hai ki ek track pe aani shuru ho chuki hai. In the next 2 years, I would like to get married.”
In the same interview, Shekhar Suman shared his thoughts about Adhyayan Suman's past. He added that it would be foolish if someone held onto the past. Shekar mentioned that the chapter has ended and the entire history has ended, so talking about it would be useless. Sharing that everyone has moved on in life, Shekar shared:
"Un panno ko sanjo ke rakhna to matlab bevkufi hogi jo saar chuke hai, gal chuke hai. Vo khatam ho gaye, vo pura itihas hi khatam ho chuka hai. Uske baare me baat karna, baar-baar dohrana. Vo kuch aur daur tha jab aap chote the, hua, aagey badh gaye. Zindagi aage badh gayi, log aage badh jaate hai, duniya aage badh jaati hai."
