It was on July 27, 2021, when Sherlyn Chopra had reportedly appeared before the Property Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch to record her statement in connection with the ongoing pornography case against her husband, Raj Kundra. In April 2021, Sherlyn had filed an FIR against Raj Kundra for sexual assault and had shared details about his company, Armsprime, which had eventually led to his arrest.
Now, the actress has dropped a video, in which she lashed out at Super Dancer 4 judge, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and advised her to speak the truth against her husband, Raj Kundra's involvement in the alleged pornographic case.
On August 30, 2021, Sherlyn Chopra took to her Twitter handle and posted a 2-minute long video in which she advised Shilpa Shetty Kundra to show some empathy towards all the female victims and told her to reveal the truth, even if it is about standing against her own husband, Raj Kundra. The Red Swastik actress recalled Shilpa's statements about Rani Laxmi Bai's heroics in one of the episodes of the reality show, Super Dancer 4. She said, "You expressed that you bow down to all those women who bravely face all the challenges of life, does that also include those helpless victims who courageously recorded their statements at different police stations?"
Going further in her video, Sherlyn Chopra also revealed that nowadays, whenever she shares anything on her social media platforms, Shilpa Shetty Kundra's loyal fans starts harassing her with mean and abusive comments. In her words, "These days whenever I post anything on social media, your followers troll me saying that my pictures are photoshopped. But let me tell you that all the investigating agencies of the country are much educated than you, me and your followers. They know how to get into the details. Also, a few days ago I read you post about faith, which made me feel very good."
At the end of the video, Sherlyn Chopra urged Shilpa Shetty Kundra with folded hands and asked her to speak the truth in support of all the female victims out there. She concluded, "I feel that belief is such a powerful force that it can spread light even in the most hopeless situations. I request you, that being a female, please show some sympathy towards all those helpless girls, who have been urging for justice. They have complete faith in the law of the land."
