Popular television actor, Rahul Mahajan has been in the headlines for his personal life. On November 20, 2018, Rahul had tied the knot for the third time with a Kazakhstan model, Natalya Ilina. Their wedding was an intimate affair in Mumbai, with the presence of only a few close friends and family members in attendance. Since then, the adorable couple has been enjoying the best of their married lives.
For the unversed, Rahul Mahajan was earlier married to Shweta Singh, whom he had known for 13 years and had parted ways in 2008. Two years later, in 2010, he had exchanged wedding vows with Dimpy Ganguly on a television show, Swayamvar. Dimpy had later filed a case against Rahul for physically abusing her in 2014. And after his divorce from Dimpy, Rahul had entered the marital journey for the third time with his current wife, Natalya IIina in 2018. The actor often takes to his IG handle and share beautiful pictures with his wife, Natalya.

Currently, Rahul Mahajan and his wife, Natalya Ilina have participated in the reality show, Smart Jodi. In the latest promo of the show, we can see Rahul talking about the hardships he had gone through in his married life in the past few years. Talking about the same, Rahul mentioned that he has been fed up of hearing repeatedly that Natalya is his third wife. He had also recalled his late father, former Union Minister, Pramod Mahajan's advice for him. Rahul said:
"Mere shadi mei sirf ek pati patni ke sibay mere pita ka role tha ek. Jab main 24-25 saal ka tha, unka ek kehna tha ki beta tereko jo cheez chaahe mai deta huu, bass eki cheez kar shaadi kar aur khush rahe. Bass life is different, it’s not a event of one day. Jab log kehte hai harbar ki teesri shaadi, toh mujhe yehh nhi lagta ki Natalya ka insult ya apman hai harbaar, kyunki use teesri biwi kaha jata hai. Magar uske izzat ke liye, kehene ko yehi hai ki maine koshish ki harbar aur mere intention clear the. Shaadi ke teen saal pure ho gye, yehi mere pita ke liye shraddhanjali hogi."
Earlier, in one of the episodes of Smart Jodi, Natalya was heard saying that Rahul's marriage with Shweta Singh and Dimpy Ganguly, doesn't matter to her as it was short-term relationships. Natalya had also mentioned that marriage holds a special meaning to her. And in the same episode, Rahul had added to his wife's thoughts and said that if her had to marry for the fourth time, then that would also be with Natalya.

In an old interview with ETimes, Rahul had talked about his marriage with Natalya Ilina. Revealing that his wife, Natalya had converted to Hinduism, Rahul had talked about how they give each other's space and mentioned about his good destiny that he met with a perfect partner. He had said:
“We are like two tracks of railway. We do not interfere in each other’s matters too much and give each other space. We are not even too apart from each other. But we maintain the balance so that our marriage is on the right track. She is Russian and has converted to Hindu religion and I always give her the reference of Lord Shiva and Parvati. I always tell her that husband and wife’s relationship should be like Shiv and Parvati. We keep them as our idols in our relationship. I teach her Geeta and we read a lot of mythological stuff together. I feel you really need a good destiny to find a perfect partner and family.”
In an interview with Bombay Times, Rahul had talked about his experience with his previous two partners, Shweta Singh and Dimpy Ganguly. He had mentioned that they were not compatible and how with his current wife, Natalya he had discovered new companionship. Rahul had said:
“My previous two marriages happened in a hurry. There was no time to think and though both Shweta and Dimpy are wonderful individuals, we were not compatible. Over the last few years, I realized that I don’t want to be in a relationship for the sake of it. I don’t want to be with someone where there is no way forward. With Natalya, I discovered true companionship and also, there’s no room for long arguments or differences between us.”
