Bollywood actor, Rahul Dev is known for his stunning performances in films, including Champion, Asoka, Footpath, Torbaaz and many more. Recently, he was seen working in super energetic roles in series, like Hunter: Tootega Nahi, Todega and Gaslight. Coming to his personal life, he was married to Rina Dev and together, they were blessed with a son, Siddharth Dev. However, he lost his wife to cancer in 2009, and is raising his son as a single parent. And in 2013, he met actress, Mugdha Godse at a common friend's wedding in 2013, and slowly, they developed a special bond. Soon, love blossomed between them, and they got into a relationship. Now, Rahul shared various anecdotes about dating Mugdha.
In an interview with the ETimes, Rahul Dev opened up about dating the second love of his life, Mugdha Godse, who is 14 years younger than him. He mentioned that this isn't challenging and further talked about his and Mugdha's completely different backgrounds, which makes an interesting relationship. He explained:
"There's nothing challenging about the age difference. We have entirely different backgrounds. I hail from North and Central India, and she has Marathi roots. I went to one of the finest schools in the country. She had good schooling but was also self-taught, which is a rare quality. If at all, the divisions make for an interesting relationship."

In the same conversation, Rahul spilt the beans on what unites him and his longtime girlfriend, Mugdha. He mentioned that both of them follow the roots of the spiritual master, Tarneiv ji and love to travel the world together. He added:
"Apart from our common interest in films, we both have a very strong spiritual connection thanks to our Spiritual Master Tarneiv Ji who means the world to us. We both love to travel and of course, we are both beach people."
For the unversed, Rahul Dev and his late wife, Rina Dev were together for almost 18 years. And they enjoyed 11 years of marital bliss before she lost the battle against cancer. Since then, he has played the roles of both a mother and a father to his son, Siddharth Dev. Now, in the interview, Rahul Dev shared the one piece of advice that he would like to give to every single parent. He said:
"I refrain from giving any kind of advice to anyone, as each situation and circumstance is different. The only thing our children want is our attention. Comparisons are always unfair because each child is different."

In many of his interviews, Rahul had shared the struggles of being a widower. For instance, in a conversation with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Rahul talked about society's reactions, when he began dating Mugdha, post his wife, Reena Dev's demise. When the actor was asked to reflect on his wife's death, Rahul clearly stated that it was one of the lowest phases of his life, and he was completely broken. Going further in his emotional conversation, Rahul revealed that he had 13 projects in his hands that year, but he wasn't in his senses and was wondering what he was doing in the film industry. He added it was an unforgettable chapter of his life.
