Television actress, Puja Banerjee is finally living her biggest dream. The gorgeousness always wanted to get married in a grand way. However, the COVID-19 pandemic had ruined her dream. Later, the actress had shared that they are officially married as they had registered their wedding in February 2020. In the same year, the duo had welcomed their first child.
For the unversed, Puja and Kunal were going to tie the knot on April 15, 2020. But with the Coronavirus outbreak in the world and the lockdown that followed with it, made Puja and Kunal cancel their wedding ceremonies. On November 14, 2021, Puja had shared glimpses of her mehendi ceremony. Sharing a picture from her mehendi celebration, Puja had written:
"And finally mujhse shaadi karogi gaanaa padaa @kunalverma ko."
A few minutes ago, Kunal Verma took to his Instagram handle to share a surreal picture with his wife, Puja Banerjee. The picture featured their first look after their wedding, and the Bengali bride looked like a doll with vermillion in the middle parting of her hair. The actress wore a red saree, and her husband was also seen wearing a red kurta. The actor also shared a twinning-in-pink picture on his IG handle. In it, we can see Puja wearing her shakha and pola, which are the bangles worn by Bengali married women. He captioned it as:
''ban gayi meri rani.''
It was on November 11, 2021, that Puja Banerjee had posted a cute 'Save The Date' announcement on her Instagram handle. In the photo, we could see the duo posing in traditional wear. Expressing her excitement to marry Kunal, Puja had written:
"Yay, finally."
Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Puja had shared the thought behind their decision of announcing their marriage. The actress had said that they wanted to get married in a grand affair as they were eagerly waiting for it to happen. However, the pandemic had ruined their plan.
