Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna fame co-stars, Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma had dated each other for 9 years before exchanging the rings in 2017. They had planned to tie the knot on April 15, 2020, as per Bengali rituals, but the COVID-19 pandemic had ruined it all for them. The couple had to postpone their wedding plans. However, they had delighted their fans with the announcement of their secret court marriage in April 2020. Puja and Kunal had a registered court marriage in February 2020.
Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma had embraced parenthood on October 9, 2020, by welcoming their little bundle of joy, Krishiv Verma. Now, Krishiv is one year old and he will get to witness his parents’ traditional wedding. On November 11, 2021, Puja Banerjee had taken to her Instagram handle to post a cute 'Save The Date' announcement. In the photo, we could see the duo posing in traditional outfits. Alongside it, Puja had written:
"Yay, finally."

As Puja and Kunal will be tying the knot on November 15, 2021, the actress headed off to Goa with her little one, Krishiv. Taking to her IG stories, Puja shared a few pictures from the bride-to-be’s travel to Goa with her son and friend, RJ Malishka. While in one picture, Krishiv looked stunned, sitting with the luggage, and in one video, Malishka and Krishiv can be seen dancing together. In one of the pictures, Puja, Krishiv and Malishka can be seen on a flight and atop it, the RJ wrote:
“This flight has the bride-to-be on her way to her phera wali shaadi!! Live long, love long, and prosper @banerjeepuja @Kunalrverma and to that cutie too!”
In a conversation with ETimes, when Puja Banerjee was asked about her son, Krishiv Verma's reaction to witnessing his parents' wedding in Goa, she had said, ''It will be fun." She had concluded revealing that the wedding in Goa will be an intimate one, followed by a grand reception in Mumbai. In her words:
"The Goa wedding is a small, intimate affair. We will be having a party in Mumbai after some time, where we'll have a relatively larger attendance."

In an earlier interview with SpotboyE, Puja Banerjee had talked about her grand wedding plans and how she and Kunal were planning to have a proper wedding ceremony by following all the rituals. Talking about the same, Puja had said:
“We will definitely get married with all the rituals. But yes we will not spend a lot of money. As the scenarios have changed now. The world is going through a lot. So, I really don't want to waste money. But I definitely want to fulfil my dream of taking saath phere.''
Puja had also mentioned that their son, Krishiv will sit with his father on ghodi. She had added:
''Bas is baar Papa ke saath ghodi pe beta bhi baithega. Our son (Krishiv) will never complain to us that you people did not invite me for your wedding."
We cannot wait to witness Puja and Kunal finally tying the knot traditionally!
