The year 2020 had brought a halt to the wedding plans of many people and our celebrities are no exception. One such couple was television actors, Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma, who had plans to have a grand traditional wedding. However, the pandemic had played the spoilsport. But, that did not stop them from culminating their relationship to marriage as they had a simple court wedding in 2020.
In between, Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma have also embraced parenthood with the birth of their son, Krishiv, and have been through many happy and mind-blowing moments. However, Puja and Kunal had not given up on their dream to tie the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony in the presence of their close friends and relatives.

On November 15, 2021, Kunal Verma and Puja Banerjee tied the marital knot in Goa as per traditional Bengali rituals. The bride entered the mandap while being seated in a palki. On the other hand, her groom, Kunal entered the venue in a ghodi as he wore a light green sherwani. In one of the pictures, she also flaunted her gachkouto, which is an accessory that consists of sindoor and is carried by the Bengali brides till she enters her in-laws' home.
On November 15, 2021, ahead of the main event, the star couple, Puja Banerjee and her man, Kunal Verma had their haldi rasam and the first pictures from the same were out. Puja’s friend, Monalisa had shared a picture of the bride-to-be, drenched in haldi and posing for the camera. On the other hand, Kunal’s friend shared videos of him from his haldi ritual. The actress had looked stunning in her yellow saree with a red border, which is generally worn by Bengali brides in their haldi ceremony.

On November 14, 2021, Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma had their mehendi night and the duo had shared a series of pictures and videos from the party on their respective IG stories. The actress also shared a picture with the groom-to-be on her IG handle while she could be seen flaunting her henna clad hands. On the other hand, Kunal was seen standing beside her with folded hands. She had captioned the picture as:
“And finally mujhse shaadi karogi gaanaa padaaa @kunalrverma ko.”
For the mehendi night, Kunal had worn a light green kurta with white pants and a white Nehru jacket with floral motifs on it, and his bride-to-be had looked beautiful in a shimmery floral green lehenga. However, it was their son, Krishiv, who had stolen all the attention. He had donned a pink kurta with white pyjama and had twinned with his mommy in a floral green Nehru jacket.
