When the Desi Girl of Bollywood had decided to marry one of the most eligible bachelors, the handsome, Nick Jonas of the Jonas brothers’ band, we had waited with bated breaths to witness one of the biggest weddings of the year. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are the perfect examples of class and royalty and whenever the duo steps out of their home, we just couldn’t stop drooling over their gorgeous pictures. Tagged as one of the most glamourous couples, Nick and Priyanka never miss an opportunity to awestruck us with their adorable chemistry. It was in the year 2016 when Nick Jonas had sent a direct message to Priyanka Chopra on Twitter and she had asked him to send her a text instead and the duo had exchanged numbers. Before meeting at Met Gala 2017, Nick and Priyanka had met each other at the Vanity Fair Oscar’s after-party in 2017. It is said that at the end of the after-party, Nick and Priyanka were head-over-heels in love with each other. The much-in-love couple had tied the knot with each other on December 1-2, 2018 at Umaid Bhawan Palace in both Hindu as well as Christian weddings.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been giving glimpses of their quarantine life. In an interview with a leading entertainment portal, Priyanka revealed her favourite dish prepared by hubby, Nick. She talked about the special brunch dish and stated that Nick makes “amazing” Tuna sandwiches for her. Priyanka also admitted that she is not very good at cooking as she doesn’t like it. She further stated that her favourite dish in the menu is avocado toast with fried egg, pickles and chilli.
In an interview with Today magazine, Nick had revealed his favourite Indian cuisine. When he was asked about his favourite Indian dish, pat came the reply, “Paneer…it’s the best." When further probed whether he likes samosa, he said, “I do.. but am more of a paneer guy.”
Sometime back, Priyanka did a fashion photoshoot for the British magazine, Tatler and the gorgeous actress had spoken how her father used to support her when her grandmother would worry about her granddaughter's marriage. Priyanka Chopra had recalled, “Who’s going to marry her? She can’t cook.’ And my dad would say, ‘I’ll send a cook with her. She never needs to go into the kitchen.’ My mum didn’t know how to cook when she got married. My dad taught her how. And he taught her everything he liked to eat. On July 20, 2020, Priyanka had remembered the day when Nick had popped the question and had asked her to marry him! Recalling the same, Priyanka had posted a cute mirror selfie with her hubby and had written a heartfelt note, which could be read as "To the greatest joy of my life. 2 years ago on this day you asked me to marry you! I may have been speechless then but I say yes every moment of every day in the most unprecedented time you made this weekend so incredibly memorable. Thank you for thinking of me all the time. I am the luckiest girl in the world! I love you @nickjonas." The doting husband, Nick had commented, "Thank you for saying yes. I love you, beautiful."
In an interview with the Harper Bazaar, Priyanka had talked about the reason behind dating Nick. She had revealed that it was his music video, Close, which had made her fall in love with him. Talking about the same, she had said, "My life has always been pretty musical, and now with Nick, it's completely musical. I decided to date him after seeing the video for 'Close,' where his shirt comes off. So that song is my favourite."
