Priyanka believes in the bond of blood and values family above all. She is close to not just her own family, but also her husband and pop-singer, Nick’s family. On Sophie Turner’s 23rd birthday, Priyanka posted a cute monochrome picture of her with boyfriend, Joe Jonas. Along with it, she wrote, “To one of the most beautiful, fun people I’ve known. Happy birthday @sophiet you are loved! I can’t wait to see you as a bride. You will be stunning! Have a brilliant year love.. #jsisters 4eva! @joejonas you r the most thoughtful! Earlier, in an interview with AOL, Joe Jonas talked about the sisterly bond Sophie shares with Priyanka. He revealed how these two have a nickname for themselves. He had said, “They have this camaraderie now that they feel is not only friendship, but it's family. That's what every brother wants. He further added, “They've gotten really close, and it's really cool to see their friendship grow, They were friends before we even met. Sophie shot 'X-Men' on the same lot that [Priyanka] shot 'Quantico' for a while, so they would spend a lot of time together, which made it even more special once Nick and Pri obviously got together.”
Recently, Priyanka appeared on the celebrity chat show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, wherein she shared some insights of her wedding and how her mother, Madhu Chopra was upset with her throughout the wedding. She had said, “My mother was so upset with me the whole time. She was like I need to have another party for the 1,50,000 people I know. How can I not invite my jeweller, how can I not invite my hairdresser? She went on to explain Indian weddings and the craze surrounding it. She had stated, “Usually Indian weddings have like a thousand people, we had only 200 which was mostly family. Both of us have giant families. We wanted to keep it just about family.”
In the same chat show, Priyanka revealed that she had not heard much about the Jonas brothers. The actress stated, “I actually didn't know much about them. I mean everyone knew the Jonas brothers, I just didn't know the music. Like I knew some of the songs, but I really didn't know much about them.” She further went on to say, “In fact, Nick and I both didn't know much about each other so we did a show and told after we started dating where like we showed each other our work from when we were younger, the embarrassing stuff. That's how we got to know each other”.
Priyanka had spilled the beans of her fairytale proposal during the promotions of her film, Isn't It Romantic. She had stated, “Greece. That's where Nick proposed to me and it was so romantic. So I think it's associated in my head with that. I think you find romance wherever you find romance.
