For the unversed, Priyanka shifted her base to the USA after getting married to International sensation, Nick Jonas. The couple resides at their luxurious home in Los Angeles, along with their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, and their furry pets.
Recently, a Reddit user shared an old video of Priyanka Chopra from Emmy Awards in 2016, wherein the actress was seen decked up in a sultry red-hued gown. On the red carpet, Priyanka interacted with the media present at the event. However, when a reporter asked the actress to show some Indian movies dance moves, PeeCee made a derogatory remark. The actress said that Indian dance moves are all about 'hips and boobs' and also shook her body as if she was grooving to some music.

Now, the video is widely being circulated on the internet, and people are not happy with the way PeeCee made a disgusting remark on Indian dance forms at the International event. Reacting to the video, social media users slammed the actress for trying too hard to fit in among the white people in America. While one user commented, "Nothing trashier than a self-loathing racist", another one penned, "Her entire life's motive is gora validation now."

Recently, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas brought their daughter, Malti to India for the first time, as the couple was invited to the Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Centre launch event. On April 2, 2023, Priyanka shared an array of pictures with her husband, Nick Jonas, on her IG handle. In the pictures, the couple was seen posing with an auto rickshaw post attending the Day 2 of the NMACC event. While PeeCee donned a custom-made outfit and vintage jewellery, Nick looked dapper in a bandhgala. Sharing the pictures, PeeCee wrote:
"Date night with my forever guy @nickjonas."

As soon as Priyanka shared her pictures on social media, her fans couldn't stop drooling over her. However, a section of netizens was not happy with PeeCee using an auto rickshaw as a prop for her photoshoot like a foreigner. While some people called her a hypocrite, others slammed her for trying to act like NRIs. Meanwhile, some people also took a nasty dig at her marriage with Nick Jonas and trolled the actress for trying hard to propagate Western culture.
Priyanka Chopra has adapted to the Western culture and blended in pretty well in a place outside of her home. However, she certainly had her fair share of trials, and once Priyanka spoke about the same in a throwback interview. The actress revealed how her hubby, Nick Jonas, often helps her when she fumbles between mixed accents during their conversations. She was heard saying:
“My accent changed in every two days. Whenever I get angry, my accent becomes so Indian that he can’t understand. So, he physically like changes my direction and he says, talk to the wall and when you’re willing to have a conversation, then only turn back.”
