D'Alessio, a Canadian model, reportedly met Gerber through his sister, Kaia Gerber, in December 2017. The two began dating in 2018 and were together for approximately two years.
Following his death, D'Alessio shared several photographs capturing moments from their relationship, including one showing them standing together in swimwear on a dock beside a lake. Alongside the photo, Charlotte expressed her anger at the unexpected turn of events, admitting that she was struggling to accept his death. She wrote:
"Shared a pure love with you & for that I thank & honor your life. You deserved more time. You deserved more life. Very angry ab this."
In another post, the former couple could be seen embracing as they looked toward the camera. Expressing her love for her late ex, Charlotte wrote:
"Love you, Pres. always. Up there, down here. Don't ever doubt that. We all love you so much. I hope you can feel it."
D'Alessio also shared a video of Gerber walking toward the ocean as a white dog ran around him. "I will always remember you this way," she captioned the clip. Her posts offered a glimpse into their past relationship as tributes continued to pour in following the model's death.
Presley Gerber and Charlotte D'Alessio were casually linked in late 2017 before they officially started dating from 2018 to early 2020. Presley's younger sister, fellow model Kaia Gerber, was a close friend of Charlotte's. Their relationship quickly grew into something much more significant. They dated for roughly two years, frequently flaunting their romance across social media.
The couple walked red carpets together, traveled, and even famously dressed up as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie from Mr. & Mrs. Smith for Halloween. Charlotte later reflected that despite his high-profile background, they "shared a pure love."

Presley died on September 20, 2026 (ET) at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica, California, according to reports citing medical examiner records. The Santa Monica Police Department said detectives were investigating the death as a suspected overdose, adding that there was no indication of foul play at the time.
An autopsy has been completed, but the cause and manner of death were deferred pending further testing. The Daily Mail quoted the department's statement:
"At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The official cause and manner of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. The investigation remains ongoing."
Presley reportedly entered the facility on September 19, 2026, just a day before his death. Sources told Page Six that he had not been doing well and knew he needed help. Those accounts have not established the cause of his death.
The model had previously spoken publicly about addiction and treatment. In March 2026, he said he was undergoing psychedelic drug treatment and hoped it would be his last time returning.
Friends and loved ones have also shared tributes. Brooklyn Beckham remembered Gerber as "the kindest," while Nicola Peltz called him "pure light in this world" and reflected on his kindness and support for friends. Paris Hilton said she was heartbroken, describing him as sweet, sensitive, kind, and genuine.
