As per a recent report, Presley checked into the luxury sober living home on Saturday evening and was under the influence of a substance when he arrived. A source close to the investigation has now revealed that Presley was found dead in the bedroom of the facility.
The source also revealed that his body was discovered near the bed, but not on it. According to the sources, fentanyl has not yet come up in the death investigation, but the medical examiner is still testing to understand what was in his system at the time of his death.
Additionally, Presley had a 24/7 sober coach, who traveled with him and supported him around the clock, but it is unclear whether the coach was present when the model checked into Resolutions Living’s USD 7.7 million luxurious rehabilitation home. The reports reveal that before his death, Presley suffered a cardiac arrest.
Presley Gerber’s struggle with addiction
Presley had a history of mental health and drug abuse issues. He was open about his major opiate addiction. He was also in a coma for many days after experiencing a near-fatal fentanyl overdose. In a 2023 podcast interview, he said that dealing with depression, anxiety, and panic attacks had become a major part of his daily life.

Gerber even started promoting “Mental Health Mondays,” a movement on his social media platform, to “spark real conversations about the stuff most people hide.” However, a source told Page Six that Presley “seemed off” in the weeks leading up to his death, and that he “didn’t seem like himself.” In 2025, Presley revealed that he took a brief hiatus from social media and modeling to focus on his recovery, saying he wanted to surround himself with a healthier community.
