Pregnant Deepika Padukone Seeks Ganpati Bappa's Darshan, Shows Off Baby Bump In 'Farshi Salwar'

In 2024, Deepika welcomed her first child, a daughter, during the Ganpati celebration after seeking Bappa's darshan, and this time too, she made sure to see Ganpati Bappa before her delivery.

Deepika was dressed up in a gorgeous farshi salwar suit. The outfit featured a yellow-hued, heavy-work-embroidered yoke kurta with a contrasting purple-toned farshi salwar. She styled her look with a beige-hued dupatta. Deepika looked adorable as she hid her baby bump in the loose kurta silhouette.
Deepika accentuated her look with jhumkis. Talking about her makeup, she kept it subtle for the day outing and styled her hair in a clean low bun and adorned it with gajra. On the other hand, Ranveer wore a matching purple-hued kurta for the darshan. We stumbled upon a sweet moment as Ranveer held Deepika's hand and kept her protected while walking amidst the huge crowd.
In fact, in 2024, Deepika and Ranveer visited the Siddhivinayak temple on September 6, 2024, and two days later, in September 2024, they were blessed with Goddess Lakshmi in the form of their daughter, whom they have named Dua.
This year, on the occasion of her daughter's second birthday, Ranveer took to his Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from his wife, Deepika's dreamy maternity photoshoot featuring Dua. In the monochrome photos, Deepika was seen dressed up in a lacey co-ord set as she flaunted her fully-grown baby bump. The second-time mom-to-be was glowing as she kept her hair open and looked adorably at her daughter.
In the first photo, Ranveer and Deepika hugged their daughter, Dua, who was hiding her face with her hands. In another one, Dua was lovingly looking at her mumma's bare baby bump as Ranveer touched it. In the next photo, Dua was in Ranveer's arms, and she looked cute in two ponytails.
Deepika also shared a beautiful photo of Ranveer holding Dua. In the last one, the second-time parents posed for the camera, and they looked madly in love and ready for another wonder to join their world. Along with the photos, Ranveer wrote:
"Baby Dua and our hearts are getting bigger! Thank you for your blessings."
In April 2026, Deepika shared a rare glimpse of her daughter, Dua, and announced her second pregnancy. Dua looked super excited to get promoted to big sister. The little girl was holding her mumma's pregnancy test result, which had two red lines on it. The post was liked by Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Kiara Advani and many more.
Talking about Deepika's professional front, the actress is all set to make a comeback with Shah Rukh Khan's film, King. She has been working hard to mark her return in the film, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film also features Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan. Not only Suhana, but the ensemble cast also includes Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Abhay Verma, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, and Jaideep Ahlawat.
