Being a mother is the biggest gift God has bestowed upon us, but being a mother-in-law is the highest privilege. The title demands utmost respect because a mother gives you a life but a mother-in-law gives her own life (her daughter) to you. It turns out to be a blessing when a mother-in-law becomes like your own mother and Bollywood actor, Prateik Babbar got lucky when he got married to his wife, Sanya Sagar. After all, he was blessed with a wonderful mother-in-law, who treated him like her own son. (Recommend Read: K.G.F. Prateik Babbar is the son of yesteryear actor-turned-politician, Raj Babar and late actress, Smita Patel. The actor lost his mother at a very young age and he hates the fact that God took her away from him 'so soon'. We remember in the year 2016, he had penned an emotional post for his mother's death anniversary and had shared in it that he is proud of being her son. Prateik never got the chance to be with her and witness her immense love for him. However, he found the love of a mother in his sasu-ma.
Today, on November 15, 2019, Prateik's mother-in-law is celebrating her birthday and like a doting son, the actor penned a special note for her. He took to his Instagram handle and posted a picture with her, along with it, he wrote, "happy birthday to the mother I never had, but now I do! My gorgeous mother-in-law, our rock through thick and thin. She’s the boss of bosses! We love and adore you mom. Thank you for everything that you do for us! Never fear when mom is here!" Take a look at his picture below:
Prateik Babbar had tied the knot with Sanya Sagar, the daughter of BSP leader, Pawan Sagar, in Lucknow on January 23, 2019. They had an intimate wedding without much showsha. On the same day, they had organised their wedding reception for the family and friends. (Also Read: Inaaya Naumi Kemmu's Smile In A Children's Day Special Picture With Her Bua Is 'Pure Happiness')
In a post-marriage interview with the IANS, Prateik had shared that he is more content after tying the knot, "I am emotionally content, of course, after marriage... There is a sense of stability. I think these days I have started using the word 'my wife' more in daily conversations. But I think when it comes to my craft, I am still like a child who is hungry to do everything. I am not yet a seasoned actor that I want to be, therefore I want to learn, I want to work with good people that will give me a chance to go deeper (into my craft). I am curious about acting. That's how I want to be, to grow."
In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Prateik had talked about his beautiful engagement with Sanya, and had shared, "Sanya and I, along with our families, decided that something as pure as love should be solemnised on an auspicious day and what better day than Basant Panchami. She’s the best partner I could have asked for. It didn’t take me long to figure out that she was the one for me. I know it sounds clichéd, but I can’t stop counting my blessings and thanking God for all the good that is happening in my life."
