Pranit More Gets Trolled Further As He Issues A Public Apology Following Rs. 370 Biryani Controversy

Pranit More made it to the headlines as a clip from his Gurgaon comedy show ended up sparking a controversy. To mention, a 23-year-old individual named Himanshu Jangra, who was a part of Pranit More's comedy show, made a comment, which not only brought him flak but also led him to lose his job.

The comment was tagged as a 'misogynistic' one, and Pranit didn't stop him from making the same comment or school him for such a comment, which led people to get angry with him, too. Pranit More has been facing heavy backlash, so much so that his social media accounts have been suspended. Well, the controversy even intensified recently, as Pranit More issued a public apology.

Pranit More issues an apology for the Rs. 370 viral Biryani controversy

Taking to his social media, Pranit More recently apologised to everyone who has been hurt by whatever has happened. He addressed the incident and said that the boy named Himanshu Jangra made several derogatory comments while being on the show, and the audience was laughing. Pranit said that he deserves the hate which he has been getting, as he could have stopped that guy from saying all of these things, but he couldn't do so, as he was carried away.

Pranit further apologised to everyone who was left hurt while adding that he has been cooperating with the officers regarding the legal proceedings that were filed against him. He also asked for a chance, and mentioned that he's also trying to be a better person, and this entire incident was a learning experience for him as well. He went on to add that he's working on his fondent, and people will surely get to see that in future. While Pranit apologised, social media users are in no mood to take the same.

No sooner did Pranit drop the clip, than the social media users slammed him again. Some mentioned that it's a new thing to say whatever they feel like and they apologise, while others agreed with him, mentioning that he deserved the hate he got and he should have faced even more hate. Some users called this apology an act, while Pranit got support from his fans as well. One user countered Pranit's justification, as he said that he got carried away with the audience laughing with Himanshu's comment. The user argued:

"You don’t get carried away with a grape mentality by laughing along with it, rewarding it, and then hiding behind to ‘log toh has pade’. You had a whole 10 minutes to shut that guy down or challenge his thinking, but instead you encouraged the crowd to laugh."

It was a few weeks back, when social media was brusting with anger as a video from Pranit More's comedy show made rounds on social media. A guy named Himanshu Jangra, who was present in the audience, was asked to share an anecdote, and while doing the same, he revealed that he had taken a girl to a date and treated her with Rs. 370 Biryani.

Himanshu went on to mention that when the girl wanted to go back to her home, he wanted intimacy instead, as he thought he could justify his spending Rs. 370, as he called it 'paisa wasool'. Well, such a comment was rightfully tagged as misogynistic, and for the same insensitive comment, Himanshu Jangra was fired from his company, where he worked as a web developer, as reported. Pranit didn't stop him or school him when it was needed, and for that reason, he was not only slammed by the public but also by celebrities.
