Mehendi, Music And Magic; Prakriti Kakar Begins Her Royal Wedding To Vinay With A Mehendi Function

One of India’s most loved and popular twin sister singer duo, Prakriti and Sukriti Kakar, are all set to begin Prakriti’s wedding festivities in 2026. Prakriti is ready to get married to Vinay Anand in Jaipur, and the festivities have officially begun. The couple got engaged in April 2025 and will get married in a dreamy wedding in Jaipur.

Prakriti’s biggest achievement is the dance track, Hawa Hawa, from the film Mubarakan, sung with Mika Singh. The song became extremely popular and was ranked number one among the top 10 most-googled songs in India in 2017. She has also appeared in one of the sessions of T-Series’ web series MixTape and will be seen soon on The Remix Show on Amazon Prime.

Prakriti took up the limelight ever since she shared photos from her intimate bridal shower on her Instagram handle. Prakriti will be marrying her long-time beau Vinay Anand at Fort Barwara near Jaipur, followed by a grand reception in Mumbai, which will be attended by popular names of the Bollywood industry and several media houses.

Vinay Anand is not a public figure; however, he has been getting all the fame and media attention due to his fianceé, Prakriti. Her hair flowed in soft, loose waves, paired with minimal makeup that let her natural glow take centre stage. The venue, dressed in marigold strings and warm, earthy hues, perfectly mirrored the easy, joyful vibe of the celebration, simple, soulful, and quietly stunning.

In an attempt to wear coordinated outfits for their first function, the groom, Vinay, also adorned a muted green kurta-pyjama. The outfit was simple with no loud details or elements. The couple shared a few hugs and smiles and posed elegantly for the photos. Photos and videos from their mehendi function that have been circulating online show the love shared between the couple is as fresh as it was when they started dating. The two were seen dancing, slipping into cosy conversations, and giving off pure energy of love.

Prakriti has confirmed that the main ceremony will unfold at the majestic Fort Barwara near Jaipur, a venue that perfectly mirrors the couple’s shared love for Rajasthan’s royal grandeur and timeless architecture.
