In 2021, Jamie and Post Malone got engaged, after which they welcomed a child, a baby girl. The rapper proposed to Jamie in Las Vegas in 2021 while drunk, to which she said 'no'.
Jamie asked Malone to come up with the same proposal the next day, and he did. Speaking about the same on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Post Malone revealed that he had lost a significant amount of money during that time to gambling and was hammered. Malone, sharing what exactly happened when he proposed to his then-lady love, said:
“I was like, ‘Hey, you wanna marry me?' I got a ring and all this stuff. And she said 'no.' She’s like, ‘Ask me tomorrow’ and I was like, 'Alright.' And then I did and I was sober and it was nice."
Initially, Post Malone didn't reveal the identity of his ex, and her name was not even made public until the couple broke up. In an interview back in 2022, Post Malone confirmed his past relationship, stating that he had gotten engaged and also welcomed a baby girl. He stated that he met someone 'beautiful' who saved his life, and he felt like having a hold of light after coming out of the darkness.

For the unversed, the tattoo on Post Malone's forehead, which reads 'DDP', is reportedly the initials of his daughter. Malone's daughter's name has not been revealed, except for the initials 'DDP'. The couple reportedly parted ways either in late 2024 or early 2025. Malone was then spotted with Christy Lee, confirming that the rapper had parted ways with his ex.
The reason for their split was not known. However, PEOPLE, obtaining the court documents, revealed the identity of Malone's ex. Along with that, it was also revealed that Malone's ex requested primary physical custody of their daughter and joint legal custody. On the other hand, the court documents revealed that Malone's ex also asked him to pay her legal fees.
