Marion Shalloe is the first wife of Piers Morgan. She was born and brought up in the United Kingdom. From a young age, she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. She wanted to live a life in order to help others, and hence, she became a nurse. She worked in hospitals, cared for patients, and provided the necessary medical support. 

Before her marriage to Piers Morgan and gaining public access, she built a strong presence in the healthcare department. She worked as a hospital ward sister. It is a senior nursing role in British hospitals, and she would supervise nurses, manage hospital wards and make sure patients get the needed care.

Piers and Marion got married in 1991. During that time, he was starting out his career in journalism, and he was working in newspapers and gradually made his name in the British meida. Morgan often referred to his first wife as someone who saves people's lives, like all nurses, but she hated him for taking a dig at her. The ex-couple got blessed with their first child in 1993. However, Morgan denied all such claims and stated that he was just using it as a chance to embarrass him and destroy his personal life. 

Just a few years before his divorce from Marion, Piers' name was linked with his now-wife, Celia Walden. But the two denied falling in love at that time. Coming to Piers Morgan's divorce, it was not pleasant at all. During a 2009 interview with the Daily Mail, Pier called the divorce a horrendous experience in his life. He said:

"I've only recently got divorced. There has to be a decent amount of time before these things are done. The divorce was a pretty horrendous experience."
