Despite being one of the world's leading YouTubers, PewDiePie has announced that he and his wife, Marzia Kjellberg, will stop making their popular family vlog series. The couple had to make tough decisions, keeping their future interests in check. The announcement was made in their recent YouTube video titled "Ending the voogs". Internet users have mixed reactions since it was a major part of their family life in Japan.
Felix Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie, recently shared a new video on his YouTube channel. In the video, he announced that he and his wife, Marzia, are stepping away from making family vlogs and sharing their personal lives online. He explained that their three-year-old son, Bjorn, is now growing older. At the same time, he is becoming a central part of their family vlogs, and they do not want to continue doing so. Felix admitted they want to allow their son to decide for himself in the future whether he wants to appear online. In his words:
"Now he's 3 years old, and we feel like it's a good time to end the vlogs. If he wants to be part of it, that should be his choice later."

According to a report by Dexerto, Felix admitted that he and Marzia are not comfortable sharing their son's life regularly in their content at this point. In fact, he also highlighted how the vlogs were putting "too much pressure" on Bjorn's online presence. Yet, the couple's fans can take a sigh of relief, as the YouTuber mentioned that they would still get to see their family in pictures or small clips from their lives. However, they would not share regular vlogs officially after September 2026.

When Felix announced his decision, several fans were confused about why the couple continued to share family vlogs if they prioritized their son's privacy. Well, a Tribune report revealed that Felix and Marzia began making vlogs after relocating to Japan. So, the videos mainly focused on how the couple transitioned into a different lifestyle and culture. But the small personal project eventually turned into one of their most loved pieces of content.

In turn, the YouTuber admitted that the overwhelming support encouraged him to continue the vlogs for longer than he thought. At the same time, it made their move to Japan seem less isolating. Instead, it motivated them to continue sharing parts of their daily lives online. But after nearly four years, the couple admitted they are ready to move on from it. Despite stepping back from family content, PewDiePie is still one of the biggest YouTube content creators in the platform's history with 110 million subscribers.
