Truth behind the presence of Perez Hilton’s kids inside his house revealed
The news of Perez Hilton harming himself started trending when the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office received calls related to an individual getting involved in acts of self-harm in a live video. The streaming was reportedly done on TikTok.
While the deputies immediately responded to the reports and rushed towards Perez Hilton’s house, they revealed that the influencer was alone inside the house and his kids were not there. Several other reports have confirmed the absence of the children, including podcaster Zack Peter, who reacted to the incident on X (formerly Twitter) on August 5, 2026, by sharing a video. He wrote with the clip:
“Perez Hilton Update: He appears to have been home alone. His kids were NOT with him at the time of his TikTok Live, where he appeared to have been having a psychotic break, self-harming online. Story still developing…”
For the unversed, Perez Hilton is a father of three children, whose names have been revealed as Mario, Mia, and Mayte. Notably, the children were born through gestational surrogacy.

Perez Hilton’s TikTok Live video started going viral on social media in a short period. The clips allegedly featured Hilton covered in blood. Apart from the deputies, the Crisis Response Unit and mental health experts arrived at his residence in Florida, aiming to provide help to Perez and his family members.
Hilton was taken to a nearby hospital. Local reporters claimed that Perez was transported in an ambulance, and the sheriff’s office later confirmed that he was getting the medical help that he needed. The deputies who arrived at Perez’s house also spoke to the family members.
A report stated that Perez seemingly slid a knife on himself, and injuries were visible on his arms and torso. While the video was live, viewers were spotted requesting Hilton’s contact number so that they could get help for him. In a statement, a spokesperson for MDCSO said that in cases where someone is suffering from a mental health issue or harming themselves, they take the necessary action by creating the perfect medium of communication. Perez continued:
“Unless there is an immediate threat to others, slowing the situation and utilizing crisis intervention techniques can reduce the likelihood of a suicide-by-cop encounter and minimize the risk of injury to the individual, deputies, and the public.”
