Paul Rudd, the 57-year-old actor best known for Clueless, is hogging the limelight due to his youthful appearance. There has been a longstanding rumour about Paul that he used Botox to stay young. For the unversed, Botox is a popular cosmetic treatment that is used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, lines and skin folds. In a recent conversation, the Clueless actor has finally broken his silence on the following. Earlier, in an interview, Paul had revealed the secret behind looking young.

Recently, Paul Rudd sat for a candid conversation with Jake Shane on his podcast, Therapuss. Jake asked Paul whether he is a vegan. In response, the Clueless actor said no and hearing his reply, Jake asked: "So then why don't you age?" Hearing this, Paul said, "I do age. You're kind for saying that, but I really do." Jake then asked Paul about the longstanding rumour about using Botox. Shutting down the rumour, Paul Rudd said:

"No. Look at my face."

When Paul Rudd shared the secret behind his youthful appearance

Earlier, in 2019, Paul joked that he was secretly "80 years old on the inside." Pointing to his chest, Paul said, "In here, pure darkness. And a little moisturiser." Later, in a 2023 cover story of Men’s Health, Paul told the magazine that the only secret behind the secret behind his youthful appearance is proper 8-hour sleep each night.

Paul stated that often people ask him about his diet plan. He mentioned that the most important part of his training is his sleep. He highlighted that people who set an alarm after only four hours of sleep to give themselves more time to train are selling themselves. He added that his morning routine includes a cup of coffee and cardio before he eats anything. He was quoted as saying:

"People ask me, 'Can you send me your meal plan? How many times a week do you work out? Do you drink? Do you eat carbs? Do you have a cheat day?' The most important part of training is sleep. They're doing themselves a disservice."

Paul Rudd's personal life

Paul Rudd has been married to Julie Yaeger since 2003. They first crossed paths at Paul’s publicist’s office soon after his film, Clueless, became a hit. At the time, Julie used to work in that office. A few days later, after their first meetup, Paul asked Julie out for a date, and that’s how love blossomed between the two. In a 2018 interview with Marie Claire UK, Paul revealed that Julie was the first person he met in the UK. He said:

"We started talking, and there was a maturity with her – she had experienced some tragedy in her life, I had too, and the impression I got was, wow, this is a woman. This isn't a girl."

Paul and Julie had a hush-hush wedding in February 2003. Three years later, in 2006, the couple was blessed with their first child, a son, Jack Sullivan. In 2018, they completed their family by welcoming their second child, a daughter, Derby. While Paul’s professional life has been in the limelight, he prefers to keep his personal life private. In a 2021 interview with People, the Clueless actor shared that he and his wife, Julie, enjoy keeping their home life low-key.
