Pat Perez Once Expressed 'Hate' For Phil Mickelson As He 'Crossed The Line' With His Ex-Wife, Ashley

Golf legend Phil Mickelson has been grabbing a whole lot of attention lately. It so happened that the golfer, a few days back, hit the headlines as speculations were rife that he was ousted from a club after he engaged in sexual misconduct with a female employee. Phil Mickelson later retained a defamation attorney and denied being involved in any such alleged sexual misconduct.

Amid this, another report claimed that Phil Mickelson was ousted not once but twice for personal conduct. While this was the case, Pat Perez's ex-wife, Ashley Perez also made some fiery allegations, stating that Phil showed her a lewd photo of himself when all of the three of them were drinking during the week of The Barclays tournament at the Plainfield Country Club in Edison, New Jersey.

Such fiery allegations instantly sparked a stir, and recently, Amy took to her social media handle and penned that she would rise and stand next to all the women who had been silenced to protect the evil. Amid this, let's look back to 2022, when Pat Perez openly expressed his 'hate' for Phil Mickelson after ending their more than three decades-long friendship. While being on Claude Harmon's podcast, Son of a Butch, Pat Perez revealed that when it comes to Phil, he holds a different hate for the golfer than most of the people. To add, before this podcast, Pat Perez made a comment on Phil that turned out to be controversial.

However, Pat, while speaking on Claude's podcast, shared that he didn't criticise Phil for going to LIV, but it was due to a personal issue between the two of them. He added that he wouldn't detail the story or go deeper into it, but Phil crossed the line, which is just unforgivable and uncrossable. 

Pat said that Phil apologised, but he could never forgive him, because he has known the golfer, and the action he had taken was intentional, and he knew that it would happen, and that was why it happened. Sharing more about the same, Phil Mickelson said:

"When it comes to Phil, I have a different hate for Phil than most people. People won't know the story—I'm not going to go into the story again but Phil crossed the line with me that is just uncrossable and unforgivable. He knows that he screwed up. He apologized for the action, but I cannot forgive him for it because I've known Phil for a long, long time. I've known the guy forever. And the fact that when he made this action, not only was it—he had intentions of doing it; he knew it was going to happen before it happened and when he did it—I was hurt, for one. I was like 'How can this guy do this?'"

To mention, it was revealed by Alan Shipnuck of Skratch that it was not only from The Farms; it had been a pattern for the golfer, as he had been ousted from two clubs before, and sources have claimed it was due to personal conduct. Notably, while Phil Mickelson didn't directly comment on the allegations against him regarding his ousting from The Farms, his defamation attorney had earlier revealed that the golfer wouldn't hold back from taking legal action against those who spread any baseless rumours about him.

Well, Phil has been grabbing attention with the controversy, while he is away from the fields, citing a family health matter. He has been married to Amy Mickelson. The couple met during university days, and it was in 1996 that Amy and Phil got married. The couple shared three kids, two daughters and a son.
