Pashmina Roshan, the daughter of music director, Rajesh Roshan and cousin of actor, Hrithik Roshan, is soon going to step into the world of Bollywood. The actress, whose family has been a part of the film industry, will make her Bollywood debut with the film, Ishq Vishk Rebound. At the song launch event of the film in Mumbai, the debutant actress shared interesting career advice shared by her cousin, Hrithik Roshan.
During the media interaction at the film's song launch event, Ishq Vishk Rebound Pashmina shared that her cousin, Hrithik Roshan, has recommended her to stay ‘authentic’ with her acting performances. The actress quoted his advice saying:
“Bring authenticity to what you do, give your hundred percent as an actor, and you are set if you do these two things. This is the main advice that he keeps giving and I hope I've lived up to his expectations.”

Pashmina Roshan is the daughter of legendary music composer, Rajesh Roshan. She is also the niece of filmmaker, Rakesh Roshan and actor, Hrithik Roshan's cousin. Given her family legacy in Bollywood, Pashmina revealed that she feels pride and simultaneous pressure coming from such a prestigious family. She was quoted by news agency PTI saying:
"The pride, the luck, their support and advice is what I've but the pressure is to live up to their advice, to their (body of) work and make a place for myself in the industry and in the hearts of the audience."
Recently, when Pashmina's first poster for the film Ishq Vishk Rebound was released, unveiling her role as ‘Sanya,’ Hrithik Roshan shared the post on his Instagram handle. He wrote that he was proud of his cousin's sister, Pashmina, who had made it on her ‘own.’ His caption could be read as:
“So proud of you, Pashmina Roshan! You made it to this moment all on your own! Can't wait to watch you shine! Your spirit is going to take you far! #ishqvishqrebound is going to ROCK!! All the best to the entire team!! Mark the date as June 21, 2024.”

Pashmina will be going to star in her debut film, Ishq Vishk Rebound, co-starring Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Grewal in the lead roles. It is a sequel to the 2003 film, Ishq Vishk which starred Shahid Kapoor in his debut, along with Amrita Rao, Vishal Malhotra, and Shenaz Treasurywala. Ishq Vishk Rebound will be produced by Ramesh Taurani and co-produced by Jaya Taurani under the banner, Tips Films Limited. The film is set to release in theatres on june 28, 2024.
