Parineeti ditched the heavy mehendi and opted for Karwa Chauth special one, wherein a woman decked up in lehenga choli was seen watching the moon with a sieve.
For those who don't know, Karwa Chauth is the most important festival for married women. It is a fast, when married women wake up early in the morning before sunrise and eat sargi, and they eat after giving argh to the moon. It is believed that the fast is kept for the long life of husbands. It is a beautiful blend of religion and love.
