Priyanka Chopra Jonas had tied the marital knot with singer, Nick Jonas on December 1-2, 2018, in a royal wedding ceremony. In 2022, the duo had welcomed their first child via surrogacy. Recently Priyanka’s cousin, Parineeti Chopra opened up about her Mimi di and her husband, Nick’s plan to bring their child to India.
Earlier on the night of January 22, 2022, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband, Nick Jonas, had announced the arrival of their first child, with a picture message. They had taken to their respective social media handles and had posted a note revealing that they had welcomed their baby via surrogacy. The duo had also requested privacy from everyone to celebrate the time with their family.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her cousin, Parineeti Chopra share a great bond of friendship and are quite close to each other. Parineeti is currently seen as a judge on the popular reality show, Hunarbaaz. In the latest promotional video for the upcoming episode, the show’s host, Haarsh Limbachiyaa said,
"Parineeti I have noticed something about you. Yahi ki pehle aap ek classy actress thi aur abhi aap ek maasi actress ho chuki hain. Bas aap ek kaam kariye aap pehli flight se apni bhatiji ko Mumbai bula lo."
To this, Parineeti gives an adorable reaction about her niece to the show's host, Haarsh. She said:
"Are abhi wo bahot choti hai."
For the unversed, Priyanka and Nick had renovated their LA home worth Rs. 149 crores to welcome their baby. According to People Magazine, Priyanka and Nick had bought their Los Angeles home keeping their children in mind. The report had also added that the couple had spent months renovating their home so that it can be child friendly after moving in. A source had told the publication:
"When they bought the house together, they had children in mind. They were hoping to have kids and needed a place with a lot of outdoor space and greenery. Priyanka and Nick spent ‘months renovating the house’ after they had moved in. They wanted to make the residence ‘family-friendly.’"

On March 3, 2022, the new mommy, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, was spotted by the paparazzi while shopping on the street of Los Angeles. She had looked gorgeous in a black Global Citizen top and had paired it with a deep green jacket, blue denim and a pair of sunglasses. Priyanka was also seen carrying a tote bag with her while shopping.
As soon as the pictures were uploaded by the fan page, Pee Cee was trolled, for gaining weight. One of the users had commented, "Moti ho gyi,” another user had written, “Yo to Ghani mooti ho gai,” while one another user had mentioned, “Wow fatty pc.” But many of her fans had also dropped comments and had supported her like, “Gorgeous PC” and many more.
On February 24, 2022, taking to her IG handle, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had shared a photo dump with a series of pictures. In the photo dump, she had shared pictures of her, caviar fries, her pets, a photo with her husband, Nick Jonas and a glimpse of her baby's nursery with lots of teddy bears and an idol of Lord Krishna. Sharing the photo, Priyanka had written:
"Photo dump."
