The season 13 of Bigg Boss was packed with a load of drama, emotions and love. Like every season, this season had also witnessed some great bonds between the contestants. Be it Shehnaaz Gill’s love for Sidharth Shukla or Paras Chhabra’s ‘friendship’ with fellow contestant, Mahira Sharma, this season too was a roller coaster ride. From verbal abuses, getting into physical fights, break-ups and patch-ups, season 13 of Bigg Boss had lived up to the expectations of its viewers. Paras Chhabra had entered the reality show, Bigg Boss 13 with the tag of sanskari playboy. Since then he was linked with his female contestants. From Arti Singh, Shehnaaz Gill to Mahira Sharma, Paras had lived up to his sanskari playboy image. However, it was his closeness to Mahira Sharma and his constant remarks on his then-girlfriend, Akanksha Puri that had made headlines. Although, Paras had always maintained that he and Mahira are thick friends and there is nothing between the two but their growing closeness in the house had raised many eyebrows.
In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Paras has opened up about his relationship quo with Mahira. When asked about his plans to get married to Mahira, Paras said, “’Yeh kab hua?’ (When did this happen). And then he went o to add, If Mahira and I are destined to get hitched, then we might just end up tying the know in the next 21 days of lockdown. So, if we're bound to be together it might just happen.”
Mahira has also talked about her bond with Paras in a chat with Pinkvilla during an Instagram live. She stated that their bond is very strong and amidst the quarantine, she is in constant touch with Paras, who is like her family. She also revealed that she shares a great bond with Paras’ mother. During Paras’s stay in the Bigg Boss house, he had got close to fellow contestant, Mahira Sharma but the two had always addressed their relationship status as friends. The growing closeness between the two had speculated that something was brewing between them. Paras and Mahira were even teased by the fellow contestants and all this couldn’t be taken by his then-girlfriend, Akanksha, who then had taken the step of ending her relationship with Paras.
In an interview with the Hindustan Time, Mahira was asked about the allegations of being the reason behind Paras and Akanksha’s breakup. Clearing her side, she had stated, “I wanted to make one thing very clear that had I been the reason behind Paras and Akanksha’s breakup I would have been his girlfriend today. I am a very straightforward person when it comes to relationships whether it is with friends or a partner. I was very clear that he was already involved with someone and being a girl I can respect another girl’s feelings.”
Well, Paras Chhabra had stated that he and Mahira Sharma are nothing more than ‘just friends’. However, in an interview with the TellyChakkar, he had added some fuel into the already existing rumours of him dating Mahira. The actor had talked about the speed-dial feature on his smartphone and had revealed that he only has three numbers, out of which two are of his mother and father and the third one is of Mahira Sharma. Well, this isn’t the only reason why rumours of Mahira Sharma dating Paras Chhabra are all over the internet. Sometime back, a picture of Mahira and Paras goofing and teasing each other inside a car went viral on the internet.
