Paradise is back with Season 2, and fans cannot have enough of the splendid series. The series, which first made headlines with its 2025 premiere, will follow another twisted saga. Here's what you need to know about the first three episodes that were dropped. Warning: Spoilers ahead!
Paradise Season 2 Episode 1, titled Graceland, takes a wild swing with the introduction of the new character named 'Annie', sharing her story from before, during, and after the catastrophe. It begins with 'Annie' visiting Graceland as a kid while her mom fades away. In the upcoming shot, we see her as a third-year medical student experiencing trauma while on the job. However, she soon drops out and becomes a Graceland tour guide instead. Her job enables her and a work colleague to hide in the basement when 'The Day' happens.

That friend hurts her leg, and by Day 46, the injury takes her life. While on Day 689, the ash clouds clear, and the sun returns. That's when men with guns arrive at Graceland's door, and while 'Annie' is initially suspicious, they're revealed to be friendly and peaceful, so she lets them stay for a while. It's during that time that 'Annie' falls for one of their numbers, a gorgeous man nicknamed 'Link'. They make love before he tells her they are off to find a rumoured underground bunker in Colorado.

'Link' invites her, but she refuses out of fear. In the ending scene, we overhear one of the men talk about killing 'Alex', while 'Link's' nose starts to bleed. Soon we found out that 'Annie' is pregnant. We hear an explosion and see fire a short distance from her gates. She jumps on a horse to investigate and finds the injured 'Xavier Collins' next to his plane.

Episode 2, titled Mayday begins with 'Xavier' waking up in a plane crash and falling out of his cockpit and badly injuring his leg. The episode then pinballs between past and present, so we'll divide those two timelines into two separate recaps. The first being 'Xavier', who injured himself at the Secret Service Training Centre in 2004. While recovering from the operation that follows, he meets his future wife, 'Teri', on a hospital ward and immediately develops a crush on her, though she's having none of his flirting. They slowly form a bond, one that strengthens when 'Teri' briefly loses her eyesight, and 'Xavier' holds her hand and tells her he knows everything is going to be OK.

'Xavier' is discharged soon after but stays to look after 'Teri'. In the present, things are far less romantic, with 'Xavier' being found by a bunch of kids who gave us Mad Max 3 vibes. Mysterious men with torches then hunt them, and the children help 'Xavier' back to their cabin in the woods while barely saying a word. 'Xavier' endeavours to fix his knee while it heals and attempts to bond with the kids. He soon heads back to the plane and ends up fighting and killing a man, which the children witness.

However, the next time he wakes up in the cabin, the kids are gone, along with his possessions, leaving only an old photo of his own children and a message saying "Sorry". Back at the plane, 'Xavier' starts hallucinating and appears to see 'Link' in a vision before collapsing, which is around the time that 'Annie' finds him. 'Annie' informs 'Xavier' that he isn't going to Atlanta, but that she's taking him to Colorado. 'Xavier' then tries to stand, but realises he’s handcuffed to his bed.
The episode further focuses on 'Samantha Redmond', the artist previously known as 'Sinatra'. Once again, the story bounces back and forth in time. The past shows 'Samantha' talking to a science guy, who tells her who is coming, warns her that she doesn't have time to fix the world. A few years later, President-elect, 'Cal Bradford' is not convinced about the threat. As 'Samantha' tries to keep the Colorado Project going, she faces pushback from developers who won't sell their tech. In response, 'Cal's' father, 'Kane', introduces her to a "special type of person," who just happens to be our old friend and future dead guy, 'Billy Pace'.

'Billy' takes on the task to get the papers signed and finds his intended target in a bar. However, instead of signing, he writes down his address, and when 'Billy' gets there, the man reveals that his wife is dying from Huntington's Disease. The man gives her a lethal injection, talks about things happening for a reason, and asks 'Billy' not to harm his young business partner, as the fate of the world might depend on him. 'Billy' shoots the mysterious man, but spares the partner, gets paid and makes it clear to 'Samantha' that he's available for future jobs.

In the present, 'Samantha' recovers in the hospital and discovers 'Henry Baines' is the President and planning to introduce artificial seasons inside the bunkers. She ends up being the prime suspect in a secret project and has to undertake a lie detector which proves nothing, angering 'Henry'. 'Samantha' claims 'Xavier' shot her, keeping 'Driscoll' out of suspicion. During the investigation of 'Billy's' death, 'Robinson' finds an engagement ring, suggesting he was planning to propose and had a reason to live.
After learning of 'Robinson's' suspicions, 'Driscoll' gains 'Henry's' trust and kills him during a job, later framing the investigator for the murder. The youth of Paradise organise a rebellion but are repeatedly arrested and disappear, including 'Jeremy Bradford', who is imprisoned deep beneath the bunker and vows to expose or destroy the regime. In the final scene, 'Samantha's' mysterious maid ominously hints that "she is getting closer."
