However, it was on May 16, 2023 when the couple celebrated a happy baby shower ceremony that they doubled up their happy news by announcing that they were actually expecting twins.
Mommy-to-be, Pankhuri Awasthy is enjoying every moment of her special journey of motherhood, and she loves to share small glimpses of the same on her social media handle. Proof of the same was found on May 18, 2023 when she dropped an adorable picture of herself on her IG stories. The actress was spotted leaving for an unknown destination in her car as she clicked a beautiful selfie of herself. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the fact that she looked extremely gorgeous in a pink-hued floral printed kurti. She kept her look simple and let her pregnancy glow do the talking. She opted for a small black bindi, a statement choker and matching earrings. Blushed cheeks, pink lips and soft wavy tresses completed her look.

On May 14, 2023, the madly-in-love couple and ecstatic parents-to-be, Pankhuri and Gautam celebrated their pregnancy in a lavish baby shower ceremony. The event was an intimate one and was attended only by their close friends and family members of the couple. Moreover, it was the mommy-to-be, Pankhuri’s look for the day that stole everyone’s heart. The actress flaunted a desi avatar and looked mesmerising in a golden-hued saree that featured a custom scalloped border. She kept her look simple and opted for dewy makeup. Open tresses and select statement jewellery amped her look. On the other hand, the daddy-to-be, Gautam looked handsome in a green-hued kurta.
Well, this has not been the first time that Pankhuri has been shedding impeccable fashion goals throughout her pregnancy journey so far. For instance, a month back on April 16, 2023, Pankhuri dropped a video of herself on her social media handle where she was spotted getting ready as she was about to leave for her babymoon in Jaipur with hubby, Gautam Rode. For the same, she looked pretty in a blue-hued printed pantsuit which she teamed over a white top. Statement accessories, open tresses and dewy makeup accentuated her look.

The journey of being parents is a special feeling for both the mother and father, and currently, Pankhuri and Gautam are experiencing the same thing. While the former often opens up on her feelings and emotions with the same, the daddy-to-be, Gautam is rarely spotted expressing his feelings on the same. Nevertheless, in an answer to a QnA session held on her IG stories, Pankhuri had opened up on her hubby, Gautam’s experience about the pregnancy journey so far and had revealed:
“Gautam is over the moon. He was ready to be a father. He has been super supportive. He has been like my rock, for every little worry, for every little thing, from getting me my meals to helping me walk, he's just there. He's so present, and yeah, he's amazing."
