At the age of 59, Pamela Anderson left everyone stunned by flaunting a gorgeous black-hued Gucci dress worth USD 4,800. It featured a backless detailing with hip-high slit, and Pamela comfortably flaunted the risky piece while posing for the photographers. Pamela styled her with a black sheer stockings and a glossy pointed pumps with a glittery clutch.
The outfit made her look on point as she flaunted her platinum blond curls and barely-there makeup. Pamela is blessed with two boy. Recently, her family got bigger as her eldest son, Brandon Thomas Lee, announced his engagement to his girlfriend, Katarina Demetriades, earlier this week. A while ago, Pamela made headlines for flaunting her no-makeup look in an orange-hued gown. She took a 360-degree turn by flaunting a bold black dress.
Pamela Anderson also talked about a deeply personal struggle she faced. While accepting the honor, she opened up about her hepatitis C diagnosis in the late 1990s. She revealed that back then there was no cure for the disease and she thought it to be a period of shame and guilt that lingered with her. For the unversed, Pamela was cured of the viral infection in 2015, but it had taken everything she had in her bank to pay for her treatment. She shared:
"But my experience of shame and guilt was also an unconscious journey. It stays with me; it haunts me. And just like the sexual abuse that I endured as a child, it felt like it was carved into my forehead: Damaged goods. And I presented myself as such."
Pamela first talked about her diagnosis in 2002, and nearly a decade ago she was cured of the disease. Pamela shared that she thinks she was never fully recovered from the diagnosis. However, she has slowly come to terms with the disease and managed to live with it. However, she is currently cured of hepatitis C, but the emotional weight of the chapter still stays with her. She said:
"It was a death sentence. That’s what my doctor told me — that I probably had around 10 years to live. I’m sure that colored and corrupted my decisions. It was not fear of death, but fear of what might happen to my young children. It turned my life inside out."
For the unversed, Pamela often flaunts her no-makeup look. She was known for flaunting iconic bombshell smoky eyes and glossy lips in the '90s. But she has reached a point when less is more. She revealed that she stopped doing heavy makeup after her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, died from brest cancer.
Pamela revealed that she thought without her makeup artist it was best she should not wear any makeup. While she has nothing against makeup, she just feels that it looked better on her when she was in her 20s and not now. She also talked about hitting the crossroads in her 50s. Pamela stated that she is not chasing youth; it is a practice she has been keeping. She said:
"Am I going to chase youth? Am I going to be miserable? Or am I going to be self-accepting? And it’s a practice."
