Ibrahim Ali Khan and Palak Tiwari are the new lovebirds in Tinseltown, and they have been grabbing eyeballs of late. From attending parties together to going on movie dates, the duo often gets publicly spotted with one another on various occasions. While initially, Palak hid her face as she was snapped in the city with Ibrahim after their dinner date, recently Ibrahim proudly carried her jacket in his arms as the duo stepped out for a movie date.
A report in Bollywood Life revealed that Ibrahim Ali Khan and Palak Tiwari have apparently received approval from their respective parents to be in a relationship. Following their multiple public appearances together, a source close to the couple shared that Palak's mother, Shweta Tiwari, has allowed her daughter to take her own decisions. Shweta, who has been a strict mother all her life, now understands that Palak is an independent individual and a grownup, and has loosened her grip over her daughter. The insider revealed:
"Ibrahim and Palak have gotten the green signal from their respective parents to date each other. Palak's mother, Shweta Tiwari, has been a strict mother to her all her life. But now Palak is an independent individual and a grownup, and hence her mom has loosened her grip and given her leeway to make the decisions of her life."

Ibrahim Ali Khan, on the other hand, has also got freedom from both his parents, Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan, to make decisions when it comes to his personal life. The source further added that while there is no mention of Ibrahim's parents in his personal life until he comes up for advice, his sister, Sara Ali Khan is happy with what makes him happy. The source was quoted as saying:
"While Ibrahim has got freedom from both his parents, Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan, to make the decisions of his life, there is no mention of them in his personal life until he comes up for advice. While talking about Sara Ali Khan, she is a darling elder sister to Ibrahim and is happy with what makes him happy."
Earlier, in a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Palak Tiwari had opened up about her relationship with Ibrahim Ali Khan. When she was asked if she got any text from Ibrahim after the release of her debut film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan's trailer, Palak said that they are not in touch on a daily basis, and they only see each other at social gatherings. She also revealed that they are just friends and added that she is very fond of Ibrahim.

Palak Tiwari often leads the headlines for her relationship rumours. In an interview with the ETimes, Palak opened up about how her mother, Shweta Tiwari reacts to her dating rumours and revealed that Shweta is like any other mother and she gets apprehensive about it. The actress revealed that whenever her mother sees any report of her dating rumours, she often wonders if she gave her too much freedom to party and go out. In her words:
"She often wonders, 'Am I sending my daughter out too much or if she is partying too much?'. When she sees these dating rumours, she sends me the links and asks me things like 'Who is this or where did this come from? 'And my replies are koi nahi hai kyunki sach mein koi nahi hai. It is just my mother, my brother and me"
