Palak Purswani and Avinash Sachdev were counted as one of the most loved couples in the television industry. The duo never failed to turn heads with their camaraderie when they were in a relationship with each other. For the uninformed, Palak and Avinash had their roka ceremony on January 17, 2021, but soon after that, their love paradise hit trouble, and the duo parted ways. Avinash and Palak again met at the Bigg Boss OTT 2 as co-contestants; since then, the duo has been hitting the headlines. For the uninformed, Palak is now out of the Bigg Boss house, and in several interviews, she has talked about the reason behind her breakup with her ex-beau, Avinash, and yet the same happened again.
In an interview with ETimes, Palak Purswani talked about her relationship with Avinash Sachdev. The actress was asked whether she would get back to her ex-beau, Avinash. To this, Palak shared that she will never get back with Avinash. Elaborating more on the same, Palak stated:
"At the end of the day, I can’t deny the fact that I’ve spent some years with Avinash. And those were good and bad days both. The way I was conveying the story about our love life and how we met, I just went with the flow. But that will not change the fact that I’m not getting back to that guy for whatever past I’d with him. It was a very toxic past and I cannot deny that. There’s no possible way that I’m going back to that guy because of what I’ve been through and what phase I’ve come out of, there is no possible way that we both can get back together."

Further in the interview, Palak Purswani said she would like to return to the BB OTT 2 house and answer a few questions. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that she wanted to know what Avinash meant when he said that he was out of love and it didn't matter what he did after that. Palak asked whether Avinash wanted to mean that he was loyal in their relationship or whether no infidelity was involved in their relationship. Speaking about the same, Palak stated:
"There were a few things that I came to know after I came out, I would definitely like to answer back to them. Like Avinash said that he was out of love and it shouldn’t matter whatever he does and the conversation ended there. Iska matlab kya hai… what did you mean when you said, “You were out of love”. Are you trying to say infidelity was not involved? Are you trying to say you were loyal to me, then I need to get back to the game to answer him that."
In the same interview, Palak Purswani stated how her family was furious after seeing Avinash Sachdev lying on national television. The actress shared that her friend Simran supported her after this and said that he could have kept quiet when he knew he was lying. Palak mentioned that Avinash's friends are now supporting her. She mentioned that her family was furious and wanted someone to convey the message to her that Avinash was lying on national TV, and if she had known that, she would be given it back to the guy. Palak stated:
"My friends and family were furious when they watched it. My friend Simran supported me. When she watched that episode she said he could have kept quiet. He could have shut himself up when you know you are wrong. He had the option to stay quiet. But on national television, on such a big platform you are lying. Today, his friends are supporting me and standing by me. They are not with him anymore. My family and friends were furious and they wanted someone to convey it to me. Had I known about it I would have given it back to that guy, but I didn't get a chance."

Earlier, an episode of BB OTT 2 featured Jiya Shankar and Avinash Sachdev talking about Palak, where Avinash could be heard saying that he fell out of love with Palak. Thus whatever he did afterwards, didn't count. However, after that, Palak's friend, Simran Budharup had taken to her Instagram story and slammed Avinash by calling him jhoota No1 for the same.
