In her latest post, Isha penned about staying silent for a long time as she was scared of her husband’s influence and power. Isha’s note, which mentioned that she was a victim in her marriage, shocked a lot of celebrities and Badshah’s fans as well.
Did Isha Rikhi mention domestic abuse in her marriage?
As soon as Isha Rikhi broke her silence about her marriage to Badshah, people were quick to notice her choice of words like ‘scars’ and ‘survival’. She also mentioned her ‘fear’ of revealing her whole story. Isha’s bold note clearly showed the state of her marriage with the celebrated Indian rapper. As soon as she posted the note, many celebs came to her support.
However, what caught our attention was Punjabi singer and rapper Karan Aujla’s wife, Palak Aujla’s, note for Isha. Not only did Palak come out in Isha’s support, but she also re-shared her post and wrote, “You are so strong, so beautiful, but you also got this, my love.”
Not only Palak, actress Shruti Sodhi also reshared the post on her IG stories and revealed how she has witnessed Isha’s marital discord. She penned:
“As a witness to everything you have been and are still going through, I and the others close to you have seen you deal with it all with integrity, sincerity and truthfulness. Continue being strong. Standing by you, standing by the truth.”
All about Badshah and Isha Rikhi’s relationship and intimate marriage
Isha Rikhi is a Punjabi actress and model who met Badshah at a party through common friends. Soon, rumour mills had that Isha and Badshah were dating each other, which the rapper later denied. But both of them were spotted together at many events, including Karan Aujla’s album release.
In 2026, rumours of Isha and Badshah’s marriage started making rounds, but his fans got a confirmation after Isha’s mother, Poonam Rikhi, posted a couple of pictures of the newlyweds. Despite the pictures, Badshah vehemently denied the reports and called it ‘rubbish’.
On the other hand, Isha confirmed the news of her marriage to Badshah during an Instagram Ask Me Anything session. She reacted to the repeated question and said, ‘Yes, I am married’ and also jokingly said that her husband, Badshah, owes everyone an explanation.
Despite being married to Badshah, Isha rarely posted any pictures with him. Months later, she posted a video featuring some intimate moments with Badshah along with a cryptic note. In the cryptic note, she wrote, “Every storm is a lesson. Every prayer is hope”, followed by a broken heart.
As soon as the video and note made their way to social media, many users got concerned. While people close to Isha reacted to the post and asked her to be strong. Isha’s cryptic post clearly indicated that all was not well in her married life with Badshah.
Before his marriage to Isha, Badshah was married to Jasmine Masih in 2012, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Jessemy. But cultural differences made it difficult for both Badshah and Jasmine to continue their marriage, and the couple called it quits and got divorced in 2020.
