Pakistani actress, Mawra Hocane has made a name for herself not only in Lollywood but also in Indian cinema. The 31-year-old ventured into Bollywood with the 2016 romantic film, Sanam Teri Kasam. Her character as 'Saru' received much love from the audience. Moreover, Mawra has also won the hearts of audiences with her impeccable performances in Pakistani dramas, such as Daasi, Sabaat, Mein Bushra, Maryam, Neem, Nauroz, and more.
Mawra is one of the prominent names in the Pakistani entertainment industry, hence, her personal life, too, often becomes a topic of discussion. As per various reports, the actress is speculated to be dating her co-star, Ameer Gilani. The two reportedly came close while filming their drama, Sabaat in 2020, and since then, there has been constant speculations that they share a romantic bond, but to date, there has been no confirmation from either of the two.

Recently, Mawra Hocane, along with her co-star, Danyal Zafar, did an interview with Something Haute. The two are soon going to star in a drama together, tentatively named Let's Try Muhabbat. Both Mawra and Danyal talked about their upcoming show and their professional lives. However, what caught our attention was when the 31-year-old actress talked about falling in love.
During the conversation, the hosts asked the two actors to share their thoughts on love. Mawra revealed her definition of love and mentioned that love is when someone can be their absolute authentic self. She also added that life is already very complicated, which is why loving someone should be easy. Mawra said:
"To be your absolute authentic self with someone. I would not think it's love if you can't really be your absolute true self, which, of course, includes freedom. But I also think life is so complicated and complex, love should be easy. Love should be clear, easy."

Further into the conversation, Mawra revealed that she is not in love. The hosts seemed surprised by her answer and immediately asked her "You are not in love?" To this, the actress confirmed that she has not been in love yet, and said:
"Well, I am not in love (laughs). No, I am not. Maybe when it'll be easy. By easy I don't mean like I want to be lazy in love. Relationships should be easy, not very complicated, because your profession could be really hectic, crazy and then you know a lot happens with the family, you don't choose your family, you're born into it. And you never want to be ungrateful for that or the problems that come with it, but love you are choosing, you're choosing a person you want to add to your already crazy life, so I think that should be should just be a breeze, it should flow."
