It is worth mentioning that Ozzy and Sharon had a pretty troubled marriage due to him cheating on her.
Ozzy Osbourne opened up about Sharon Osbourne’s practical reaction to his affair
Ozzy and Sharon’s love story had lasted 43 long years. In his posthumous memoir, Last Rites, the rocker opened up about his wife’s level-headed reaction to him being disloyal. He admitted in the book that his sex addiction went out of control around the time of Black Sabbath’s final tour. He sarcastically wrote how he thought it would be “a great idea to start seeing a load of women on the side.”
According to Ozzy, his infidelity had less to do with love or romance and more to do with “filling a void.” Despite this, he believed that Sharon had “every right to dump” him when she learned of his indiscretions. He wrote:
"At some point you get trapped, and you can’t stop seeing ‘em, ‘cos you think they’ll go to the press or whatever. Which is pretty much what happened. Sharon was like, 'What the fuck did you expect, Ozzy? If you’re seeing enough women, one of ‘em’s gonna want more. And that’s the one who’s gonna bring the whole thing crashing down on everyone’s heads.'"
Ozzy had confessed to being the “bad guy” who “fucked around for a while” when he was already married. But ultimately, he said that he was grateful Sharon decided to forgive him. He wrote:
"I broke my wife’s heart, and I’m lucky she forgave me. I just hope all the people I hurt know how sorry I am — including the kids, who were badly affected. And that’s all I wanna say about any of that, ‘cos bringing it up just causes more pain."
For those who don't know, Ozzy and Sharon separated back in May 2016, following which the musician entered rehab for sex addiction. They reconciled a month later, in September 2016, and also renewed their vows sometime later. Around the same time, a woman named Michelle Pugh revealed that her and Ozzy’s affair lasted four years. As per Ozzy, he said in a statement that he was “sorry if Ms. Pugh took their sexual relationship out of context.”
In an episode of The Talk which aired in July 2016, Sharon claimed that her husband had been a "dirty dog.” Despite this, she has her own reason for ultimately getting back together with him. She said, “I forgive. It's going to take a long time to trust, but we've been together 36 years, 34 years of marriage…I just can't think of my life without him.” Later, in 2017, Sharon spilled that Ozzy had cheated on her with six different women.
Sharon Osbourne revealed how Ozzy Osbourne wanted everyone to remember him after his death
Ozzy Osbourne passed away in July 2022. On his first death anniversary, Sharon gave a rare interview where she said that she wanted people to remember him as “funny and charismatic and real.” She also revealed how Ozzy himself would want his fans to remember him, saying:
“As Ozzy would say, ‘when you want to remember me, just yank up the music really loud, as loud as you can get it, and just head bang…He was authentic. "He never tried to be anything other than what he was, and he would tell you the truth about everything, and that was him; you knew where you were with him.”
