CeCe Rose opened up about accounts impersonating her
In an interview with NYPost, the OnlyFans star revealed that she has hired security teams to track down hundreds of accounts pretending to be her to scam her fans. The 27-year-old star has over 2.2 million Instagram followers and makes millions a year on OnlyFans.

However, CeCe revealed that the fraud accounts are preying on her fans for cash. Not only that, some people have been scammed by these fake accounts into believing they are in a serious relationship with her and that one day they'll meet and have a future together. She said:
"It’s gotten so bad, to the point that just the other day, my team found 371 fake accounts. I’ve heard stories where somebody genuinely believed they were in a serious relationship with ‘me,’ including believing we were going to meet or have a future together one day."
CeCe revealed that these impersonating creators have become a huge problem for her. The US Federal Trade Commission reported that Americans have lost a staggering USD 3.5 billion to imposter scams in 2025. She revealed that the scale of her fake accounts has crossed all limits. CeCe added that a fake account made a man drain his bank account in order to support her 'ambitions'. She said:
"At the end of the day, being on social media, everyone has fake accounts pop up. But out of the people in my circle, it’s nothing compared to the quantity. He drained his bank account trying to support ‘my ambitions’ — the fake scammer’s ambitions or whatever story they were feeding to him. And I imagine the stories I’m not hearing. [The scammers] are probably making more money than me."

She also expressed concern regarding AI and how more men might fall for the scam. Most people who have fallen victim to her are older, but younger fans are also likely to fall for these scams. CeCe also added that it is shameful that a scammer is scamming her audience into believing that she is in a relationship with them, and finding out it to be fake would be so devastating. She said:
"I always make it clear they shouldn’t feel ashamed. If somebody has spent months believing they’re building a genuine relationship, finding out the entire thing was fake can be devastating."
CeCe Rose stated that her team has successfully tracked the fake account that lured her fans, and the matter is under investigation. To her fans, CeCe warned that she had never asked for money from her fans through messages. And she would never come begging for anything. CeCe Rose often shares beautiful photos on her Instagram handle as well.
