Similarly, Bengali film actress and MP, Nusrat Jahan is going through one of the most beautiful yet tiresome phases of her life. On August 26, 2021, Nusrat had given birth to a baby boy at Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital in Kolkata.
Nusrat Jahan had been making the headlines for her strained relationship with her estranged husband, Nikhil Jain. Amid reports of her separation from Nikhil, rumours of her pregnancy were also rife in the media. However, Nikhil had denied accepting the baby as his because he and Nusrat were staying apart for more than six months. When reports in the media were rife that Nusrat has named her son 'Yishaan', she had to face a lot of trolls for naming her son with a name starting with the first alphabet of her rumoured boyfriend, Yash Dasgupta.

On September 2, 2021, Nusrat Jahan took to her IG stories to post a Boomerang video that featured the actress for the first time after her delivery. Nusrat can be seen wearing a sleeveless top and a pair of spectacles. In the story, Nusrat wrote, ''Sleepless nights and days" atop the Boomerang video. Therefore, it can be deciphered that she is taking care of her son, Yishaan day and night.
A few days back, Nusrat Jahan had returned back home from the hospital with her rumoured boyfriend, Yash Dasgupta, who was carrying the child in his arms. In videos shared online, the newbie mommy, Nusrat had folded her hands and acknowledged the media before getting into the car.

It was Yash Dasgupta, who had informed the media about the well-being of Nusrat and her son, Yishaan. Sharing an update for her fans and well-wishers, he had said, “For those who have been enquiring about Nusrat’s health, the mother and child are healthy and doing well.” Though speculations about the child's father were rife, Nusrat Jahan had taken a stand that she won't be disclosing the name of the father and would be a single mother to her son.
On July 12, 2021, Nusrat Jahan had created a lot of buzz on social media as she was spotted for the first time flaunting her baby bump. Nusrat’s picture, flaunting her baby bump in a white dress, sans makeup had created a lot of buzz as it came as a confirmation of all the rumours. In the picture, Nusrat was seen posing with fellow actresses of the Bengali film industry, Srabanti Chatterjee and Tanushree Chakraborty.
