Actress and TMC MP, Nusrat Jahan had embraced motherhood on August 26, 2021, with the arrival of her baby boy, whom she has named Yishaan. And since then, she has been enjoying every moment with her little munchkin. The doting mother celebrates every occasion with her son and shares adorable photos on her IG handle, and Christmas 2021 was no different!
On November 4, 2021, Nusrat had celebrated her first Diwali with her son, Yishaan Dasgupta. Her rumoured boyfriend, Yash Dasgupta too joined them and to mark their first Diwali together, the family of three had twinned in purple outfits. Nusrat had taken to her Instagram stories to drop two pictures. One picture was of her and Yash Dasgupta. While Yash had worn a purple kurta and white pyjama set, Nusrat had looked stunning in a purple saree. In another picture, Nusrat had shared the first glimpse of her son and had added a ''Happy Diwali'' sticker atop it.

A few moments back, Nusrat Jahan took to her IG handle and shared a photo with her baby boy, Yishaan to wish her fans and friends on Christmas. In the picture, Yishaan looked cute as a button in the red and white Santa outfit, while Nusrat dressed in a black sweatshirt and denim, carried him in her arms. The mother-son duo posed with a Christmas tree and other festive decorations. Nusrat captioned the post as:
"It just isn’t a season… it’s a feeling… May this Christmas bring in joy peace hope and love to all… MERRY CHRISTMAS."
A few days back, Ishq FM had shared a brand new episode on their Youtube channel, wherein Nusrat had addressed all of the speculating questions and had answered the social media users' queries. She had opened up about embracing motherhood and had said that it was the boldest decision she has taken in 2021. And, her son has a 'normal father and a normal mother'. She had said:
"I've not made any mistake. It's my life and I've taken the decision. People might find it bold but I think it was a very sane decision to take. I've never spoken about this so that I can keep my sanity intact. Just because I didn't speak up on this matter, many people have said a lot of things. So today I'm speaking about this. Yes, I've been extremely extremely bold and I'm very proud of my decision of being a mother. I'm not a single mother, my child has a normal father and a normal mother like me."

Further answering the questions, the actress had talked about how her body had changed while she was pregnant with her son and had revealed that she has not gone under the knife. Nusrat had mentioned she used to look like a zebra. She had added:
"I didn't go for a nose job. My nose changed size due to hormonal changes. My leg also got swollen. My body had two-toned skins, making me look like a zebra. If I laid on the zebra crossing, there wouldn't be much of a difference between us. Slowly I'm getting better since my son is out of my womb."
On December 5, 2021, Nusrat had taken to her IG stories and had posted an adorable monochrome picture of Yishaan, holding Yash's finger. Yishaan's face was not disclosed, while Yash's face was visible. Atop the picture, she had written:
"Grateful".
For the unversed, Nusrat was previously married to a businessman, Nikhil Jain.
