Amid that, the latest reports have revealed that a man named Joseph Alfredo Vasquez Dumarce has been arrested after he sent death threats to a judge.
Man arrested for sending death threats to a judge
A California man has been arrested and put behind bars for allegedly sending a death threat related to Nolan Wells to a Jackson County judge. For the unversed, the judge is the stepmother of one of Wells' friends. The man was soon identified as Joseph Alfredo Vasquez Dumarce and is currently locked up on charges of interstate transmission of a threatening communication.
According to reports, if the allegations against him are proven, Joseph Alfredo Vasquez Dumarce will have to spend a long time in jail. For the unversed, the federal crime carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison. Investigators say Dumarce used the social media handle "@yaeyae962" to send Judge Ashlee Cole threatening Facebook messages in the aftermath of Nolan Wells' death.
What did the death threat note say?
According to a report by Sun Herald, the charging documents include several messages allegedly sent from the account. The note alleged that a package would be delivered to Ashlee Cole's office in the coming days, and it would be something that would leave them stunned. The note further told Cole to have her kids present when she opens the box. The note could be read as:
"There will be a package coming to your guys' office in the next few days. It’s gonna blow you away when you see it. LoL. Probably best to have the boys there to see as well."
The note further mentioned the boat and alleged that even the FBI won't be able to stop what will happen. The alleged note from Joseph Alfredo Vasquez Dumarce further suggested that once it's opened, Ashlee Cole and her family might get 10 seconds to "ask for forgiveness". The note read:
"Blood. So much blood everywhere. Hard to clean. Especially from a boat. But yours will be quick, I promise. I got all your info. Not even the FBI can stop this. Once that package is opened, the timer will start. And then you have maybe 10 seconds or less to ask God for forgiveness."
Another message allegedly threatened to strangle Ashlee Cole's sons and even included pictures of her children. Authorities immediately started digging into the social media account and were soon able to link it to Joseph Alfredo Vasquez Dumarce. They allegedly traced the email IP addresses associated with it and cross-referenced a date of birth, phone number, and street addresses tied to the account.
According to reports, Ashlee Cole's stepson, Warren Hudson, was one of the friends who had traveled to Horn Island on July 4, 2026. It was alleged that he was a part of the group with Nolan before he disappeared. Warren recently sat down for a lengthy interview with Brandon Tatum, denying any involvement in Nolan Wells' death. Recently, even Warren's dad, Dr. Benjamin Hudson, told TMZ that he is offering a USD 50K reward for any information regarding Nolan's death.
