The reports also stated that Dhirubhai Ambani tracked Nita's contact number and called her. However, the young Nita thought it to be a prank. She had cut his call by saying, "I am Elizabeth Taylor." While Dhirubhai Ambani called her again, she didn’t pick it up, luckily on the third time, it was Nita’s father, Ravindrabhai Dalal, who picked up the phone. He told his daughter that it was not a prank call.
