Nita Ambani Wore Rs 53 Crore Mughal Era's 'Mirror Of Paradise' Diamond Ring At Anant-Radhika's Bash

Mukesh and Nita Ambani hosted one of the most lavish pre-wedding festivities for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the world has ever witnessed. From inviting some of the most prominent names from all walks of life to a private concert by Rihanna, the three-day soiree in Jamnagar, Gujarat, became a topic of international discussion. Moreover, what caught everyone’s attention was the extravagant sartorial and jewellery collection of the Ambani women.

Nita Ambani flaunted a historical diamond ring at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding soiree

The mother of the groom-to-be, Nita Ambani’s fashion picks and jewellery have been the talk of the town—and rightfully so! The Ambani businesswoman wore some of the most expensive pieces of jewellery for Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding bash. On their Hastakshar ceremony, Nita Ambani donned a customised Manish Malhotra handloom Kanchipuram saree. However, it was her chunky diamond ring that immediately caught our attention.

Nita Ambani opted for a historical diamond ring for her son’s pre-wedding ceremony. As per Julia Hackman Chafe, the ring is called the ‘Mirror of Paradise’, weighs 52.58 carats, features tapered baguette-cut diamonds and is a D-colour internally flawless diamond. The same diamond was originally mined in the Golconda region of India, and costs a whopping USD 6.5 million, which is approximately Rs 53 crore. Nita Ambani’s diamond ring was previously sold at Christie’s auction in 2019 as part of the Maharajas and Mughal auction.

Nita Ambani wore the same diamond ring to the NMACC launch

This was not the first time Nita Ambani used this precious piece of jewellery to accessorise her outfit. On Day 2 of the NMACC launch event in March 2023, the businesswoman paired this expensive ring with a regal Burano lace cape from the shelves of Indian designer, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, which she wore over a champagne-gold Valentino gown.

Nita Ambani accessorised her Kanchipuram saree with a Rs 450-500 crore emerald necklace

Another highlight of Nita Ambani’s look from Anant and Radhika’s Hastakshar ceremony was her opulent diamond-emerald necklace. The long necklace featured several mini emeralds and diamonds attached to two big emeralds. According to several media reports, the necklace alone is priced between Rs 450-500 crore.
