In the now-viral clip, Nikki was asked about her and Arbaz’s breakup rumours. In response, she shared a cryptic reply fuelling the breakup buzz. She also added that in one or two days, she would say something about it. Nikki said:
"Abhi bohot kuch sunne ko aayega."
A few days back, Arbaz shared a cryptic note on his Instagram Stories. In the note, Arbaz mentioned infidelity. His note can be read as: "Cheating on your partner, then coming home to them and looking them in their eyes, telling them you love them, is a whole different level of disrespect. I said what I said." While Arbaz didn’t mention Nikki’s name, netizens were convinced of whom Arbaz was referring to. Soon after Arbaz’s cryptic note, Nikki also shared a note on her Instagram Stories. It seemed like a reply to Arbaz’s statement. She wrote:
"The truth they don’t say. Affairs don’t happen because someone new is irresistible. They happen because someone old stopped respecting their promises."
